Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe

Excellent!

Posted Dec 12, 2006 - This is the most realistic and comprehensive flight simulator I've seen to date. I am an instrument rated commercial pilot and also a certified flight and instrument instructor. Additionally, I spent 8+ years working as a software engineer in the flight simulation group at a major helicopter/defense contractor. Granted, that was a few years ago, but MS Flight Sim X is on par and, in many ways more advanced. I'm seriously thinking that the only reason to go flying anymore is if I actually need to go somewhere! This is a top-notch product. You'll want to get a joystick as well.

Posted Nov 19, 2006 - I have been a fan of the flight sim serious for a while, and this game met a lot of my expectations. It is a great improvement over the previous version; however, it takes up a lot of memory and processing power (at least on my machine).

Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe

Posted Nov 15, 2006 - Although Microsoft Flight Simulator X Deluxe provides better graphics, it takes too long to load software when playing. I purchased the software from Dealmoguls.com using Pricegrabber.com. Software was as advertised - no fake copy. I also received software in less than a one week by US mail.

Posted Feb 8, 2007 - This is my first simulator, I'm impress how you can flight a Boeing 747, 737, Airbus, etc, mission are good, learning center help you how to flight, you can record your personal flight in any part of the world, at any airport, realistic instrument panels, etc

Posted Jan 2, 2007 - Our son is in Civil Air Patrol (CAPs) and is currently taking flying instructions (15yrs old) He loves this simulator. The deluxes is the way to go. You receive more missions and choices. Very impresssed with this product. Thank you.

Awsome

Posted Oct 29, 2006 - This game is awsome! This is the best flight simulation ever that is available to the public. When you are playing it seems like you are rellay there. The missions are in a awsome high detail. The only thing that I found wrong is that you need a powerful computer and a good joystick.

Posted Nov 14, 2006 - I just love this game, this is if not the best game out! I have found no problems with it, it works nice and fast, no lag no problems. I recommend you buy this! You will love it! 10/10!

Just keeps getting better

Posted Feb 20, 2007 - I bought this for my college-attending nephew for Christmas, who has been playing Microsoft Flight Simulators since 1995. He is quite pleased with it. He immediately noticed the ground movement (e.g., trucks on roads). My main worry, that it would be a resource hog that could not run reasonably on his laptop, turned out to be unfounded. If only Mayor Daley of Chicago had not illegally destroyed Meigs Field...

FSX DELUXE

Posted Jan 8, 2007 - Nice upgrade from FS2002, much more included scenery. The gps in some of the prop planes is a nice upgrade from what I'm used to in FS2002. Be prepared to have some extra memory and hard drive space on hand when you install. Multi player mode is quite fun. Real world weather updates every 15 min

Ahead of the hardware curve, but woth it.

Posted Jan 13, 2007 - It's another fantastic flight simulator from Microsoft. I enjoy flying with it, and enjoy the live weather feature, it adds a new twist to it; althought at the moment, because of the extreme system requirements, I don't think I'm reaping the full benefits.

Posted Dec 16, 2006 - I am A sport pilot and am hoping to continue on to get my private pilots certificate.Hope this would help me with different systems and workings of an airplane.Still experimenting with different views but still having trouble.Diferent nav. systems I don't understand.

Posted Jan 2, 2007 - If you like flying I highly recommend it. Make sure that you go through the training section before you start playing, otherwise you may get yourself in trouble by crashing. The hardest one to fly I find that it is the helicopter.

Posted Dec 18, 2006 - Not only is the free flight incredible, there are over 50 missions that will help you increase your skill level with planes, gliders, and helicopters. With the vast number of commercial aircraft offered, you could literally play a different scenario everytime you played the game. Spring for the deluxe version of the game in order to get all of the additional scenery, options, and the ability to control the air tower. This game literally has so much going for it that it will appeal to a lot of people who only dreamed they could learn to fly. It even offers remote control of the aircraft which will help you hone your skills if you ever considered R/C as a hobby - it's a lot cheaper than Real Flight G3.
