Strengths:

great gameplay, excellent cars, cop-mode

Weaknesses:

graphics aren't up to date since it's a pretty old game

Posted Aug 5, 2003 - Overall this game is great for all people that enjoy racing games (and many like me that don't). I think the best part of this game is the cop-mode in which you have to catch the other cars (which look awsome btw). If it was newer with an improved graphics system then it'd be probably the best racing/cop game ever.

Strengths:

Great graphics, Excelent music

Posted Dec 5, 2002 - Unlike in NFS: hot pursuit, Hot Pursuit 2 is difficult but still easy in the beginning. The cops do a great job of slowing you down. Cars are fast but can lose control so be careful and take the short cuts. In cop mode the disappointing thing is that you have to hit them to bust them so stopping them will work but not until they drive off leaving you in the dust, but I found that if you hit them on the side to the rear to spin them backwards then spin yourself around using the parking break, it puts you in a position to stop them for good. This game is excellent so buy it.
