Weakness: Customer service, Bugs, Little or no content.
When the game first came out 6 months ago I felt like a Beta tester (because of all the bugs and server problems). The thing is, 6 months later there are still mass bugs and very little customer service. For 15.00 a month you would think they might take better care of the customer. There is little in the way of content. Dont get me wrong, if you play a few hours a week and dont mind paying 15 buck a month for a game this is great. However if you are a hardcore MMP player you will have your character maxed out in skills and have the best of everything in no time...You may ask "why is that a bad thing" Well it is bad because other than leveling there is no content to the game...Because of bugs well over 50% of the players have enough credits (money) to buy whatever they want whenever they want it. This is a very BAD thing because the entire game revolves around a player controler economy. Patches to fix bugs are a joke: When they fix one problem they cause another. This game should have been left in testing for another year before they threw it out on the shelves. So over all the game is worth the 45-50 bucks but it is not worth the 15.00 fee for very weak customer service.

TopStrengths: The way the skill tree is set up so that you can sell skills that you do not like. Grouping with pets. Large groups (up to 20). It is Star Wars.
Weakness: Servers always having problems. LITTLE customer service.Items in backpacks,HOUSES,Factories,Harvisters disapeering. Mobs teleporting into/out of combat. Pets being stored DURING combat. MORE
This could be a good game for christmas 04 but right now it is Pay to play BETA.
To many bugs.
Too much down time for servers, says 1 hr per day but more like 3 hrs per day down time.
I have enjoyed most of the time that I have been able to play. But waiting for 'connection to galaxy', 'galaxy is loading' and all the other in game bugs leads me to say save your money.

LucasArts Star Wars Galaxies Collector's Edition
Strengths: Good potential to be a blockbuster game, a Star Wars-ey feel, the best social tools ever in a MMORPG.
Weakness: Little actual content, nothing to do for hardcore power gamers, tedious item creation.
I feel that Star Wars has a good chance of becoming a phenomial game, but it's not quite there yet. It's a blast if you're the type of person who takes there time and tries to get the most out of something, but if you're just wanting an EQ clone, skip this. There's no phat lewts.
