Good for price

Strengths:

good price, takes up small space, basic functions, light weight

Weaknesses:

feels cheap, poor sound quality

Posted 1 year ago - This phone does fine with the basics. The screen is easy to scroll through and see the caller information, and deleting numbers is a breeze. My biggest complaint so far would be that the shipping was as much as the phone. But for the overall price I'm satisfied.

Cheap but Effective

Strengths:

Low Cost, No WiFi Interference

Weaknesses:

Average Sound Quality

Posted 1 year ago - I was looking for an inexpensive 5.8GHz phone for my basement. The ia5824 is attractive and compact, and seemed perfect for the job. Overall the sound quality is average at best. The LCD is clear and the buttons are well laid out. Range is not as far as I expected, which limits the use of the phone.

Vtech 5.8 Ghz

Strengths:

Cheap, 5.8Ghz

Weaknesses:

poor sound quality, lack of features

Posted May 9, 2008 - I can not complaint too much because it cost me only $5 after rebate. It has good range and not interfere with Wireless Router, but voice quality is so so and caller ID is not seem working well If you are going to pay full price I do not recommend you.
