Really great phones - Not perfect but great - No more loss of wireless internet
Does not intefere with my wireless internet - easy to program - good selection of tones - good range - good sound - long battery life
Wall mount is poorly designed, and it sticks out - Cannot program specific ring tones for known numbers.
Posted Oct 25, 2007 - I finally got fed up with my Uniden 2.4GHz phones, because they kept breaking up my home wireless network when someone picked up the phone. I tried moving the channels around, which helped for a while, then the phone kept coming back and taking out the internet. These DECT6 phones are the perfect answer. They do not affect the internet any more, and have way better battery life and range than the 2.4 and 5.8 stuff. They are inexpensive, and sound great. The answering controls and speaker phone are in the handset, and thus easy to access. The phone books can be sent between handsets which saves lots on time. The ring tones are not annoying. The display is clear and easy to read. There is also an alarm clock, intercom function, and 2 people can join a phone conversation, at one end. Not gone on the fact that I cannot add a distinctive ring to the numbers in my address book (saves looking at caller ID) which I could do on the Uniden. The charge light could be annoying for a bedroom. The wall bracket is a joke. Its a little shelf to mount the desktop phone, and sticks out. Its hard to see the answering controls on the base. Its not really intended for wall mount, but it works if needed. Overall I am very happy, and so is the wife (which really matters)
