Good pair of scissors if you can get it at a discounted price
It works
No smart charger
Posted Apr 9, 2008 - I purchased this power scissors about 1/4 of full price. For the price that I paid, I don't have much complains. It works as it should. You can cut papers, blister packs, and cardboard boxes without problem. I find it's a very handy tool for packaging, since I sell many items on ebay. One thing you need to be careful is that it does not come with smart charger. It just comes with simple AC-DC adapter that you plug directly into the tool. It takes so long time (12 hours) to fully charge the battery. It uses Ni-Cd batteries and it's really easy to overcharge the batteries, shortening the life of Ni-Cd batteries. I always exercise full charge/discharge. Other thing that you need to note, which is true for all scissors whether they are powered or not, is that you need to remove stick goo build-ups from time to time. I use WD-40 for it. Between clean-up, it's a good idea to lightly oil the blade. I use air tool oil, which is always there in my garage. For the price, it was not a bad purchase at all.
