KODAK USB Cable, Model U-8

Strengths:

USB cablew works fine

Weaknesses:

Small end is DIFFERENT from all other USB cables

Posted 1 year ago - Kodak small end that inserts into camera IS DIFFERENT than standard ends that work in EVRY OTHER camera. This makes you HAVE TO USE Kodak cable, I will never buy Kodak again!

It does what it's supposed to do. Both connections fit as they are supposed to and data transfer was no problem.

Posted 1 year ago - I bought this for my Kodak EasyShare Z740 because I lost mine and the card reader does not work on my computer. Just wish Kodak would make it easier to figure out what cable is needed. It took some searching to find out the name of the cable. The Kodak site was not at all helpful. The cable is great, don't think I will buy a Kodak camera again though. Too many blurry pictures. The software really messed up my computer and does not play well with Microsoft Digital Image software. If all you want is the cable, buy it!

Posted May 17, 2008 - I HAVE USED THE CABLE TO DOWNLOAD PHOTOS TO MY PC. THE PICTURES CAME OUT GREAT. THE CABLE LOOKS THE SAME AS THE CABLES KODAK SELLS WITH THEIR CAMERAS AND THE USB BARCODE DOES SAY KODAK ON THE PACKAGE. A-1!!
