0.60x Magnification - MPN: 1895796
Strengths: Well made and easy to use once you remember to place the adapter on.
Weakness: It would be nice if the adapter wasn't needed inorder to use the len.
Seems like the flash mode doesn't function using the lens indoors e.g. fill mode very dark. Maybe I haven't made the proper adjustments yet (trial and error) I plan on using this mainly outdoors. This was a good buy.

TopStrengths: Easy to use, well made
Weakness: Somewhat heavy, dark spot when used with flash (read below)
I have the Kodak DX7630 and I can now get much more in the frame with minimal investment (purchased for around $50). The lens is made of metal (aluminum) and the glass makes it about as heavy as the cameras battery. The lens also requires an adapter specific to the camera you have, to allow for the 37mm size. There is a big dark spot in the lower left hand corner when you take a picture with the flash, however it is not likely that you would be using the flash when trying to get wide angle pictures. This also may vary depending on the camera and location of the flash bulb on your camera. On the DX7630, the bulb is on the top right side which explains the lower left dark spot (lens housing blocks the light). The lens lets in a lot of light and I have found that indoor lighting is adequate in lieu of the flash. The stock cameras lens cap does not fit the 37mm lens but the lens does come with a plastic cap for each side as well as a small fabric carry pouch. Overall, I am very satisfied with the lens.

TopI purchased the wide angle lens for my Kodak DX7630 camera. My reasons for getting it was to be able to get closer to the subject such as a wedding party, or any large group of people inside. Unfortunatelely, the wide angle lens cannot be uesd inside because the lens create a picture to dark to be use, especially if someone is paying you for the photos. Increasing the flash brightness and brighting the picture didn't help. I was disappointed with product.
Wider is Better...
Strengths: WIDE ANGLE SHOTS, Beautiful workmanship, Dual Caps, Easy attachment...
Weakness: Heavy, No hood...
Well, what can I say other than they do not lie when they say WIDER IS BETTER because WOW. I was extremely impressed with this attachment simply because you can actually see SO MUCH MORE. I am not a camera expert and the Z760 is actually my first own camera, so I was kind of skeptical about this so-called "wide angle lens". My assumption was that the image would somehow have that fishbowl view but you capture ALOT more scenery and people which is then rendered beautifully in 6.1MP.
This attachment screws easily enough onto the 37mm adapter and does not suffer from the FINE THREAD problem you have with the adapter going onto the camera. The only noticeable "problem" with attaching the wide angle lens is the fact that it is heavy (BUT BEAUTIFUL) so make sure you DO NOT drop it. To make matters worse, the Lens Hood does NOT attach onto the Wide Angle Lens so you can forget about reducing sunlight glare. Ironically, the wide angle lens blocks the flash bulb slightly so expect some "issues" with your indoor or night shots but it takes in ALOT MORE LIGHT so play ALOT with the settings. The lens comes with its own carry pouch but I liked the fact that it comes with 2 plastic caps to cover both ends of the attachment when not in use.
In conclusion, this is an AMAZING attachment because it simply adds so MUCH MORE DETAIL to your shots and turns your simple digital camera into a semi professional camera. Once you get past 5MP, pictures take on such clarity that adding the wide angle element only allows you to take enormous shots without carrying around tons of equipment. My only quip is the inability to attach a Lens Hood to prevent some of that sun glare but I am definitely impressed with being able to capture more scenery...
