jsilveir - (July 10, 2004) I’ve had an Olympus C-750 Ultra Zoom Digital Camera for about 6 months, and purchased the Olympus TCON-17 (1.7x) Tele Conversion Lens about 2 months ago. The choice of the Olympus C-750 UZ (10x optical zoom) was made because the camera would be used for lots of sports action photography, and previous experience had revealed that without a strong zoom lens, it was difficult to get some of the shots I wanted. The 10x zoom on the C-750 has been sufficient much of the time, however, I began to get a feel for its limitations when taking some shots of wildlife. I was intrigued when I found out that I could push the magnification of my digital still camera to 17x with only a modest additional inv

boltz007 - (July 28, 2004) Bought for Kodak 6490. This was on of the benefits to the kodak..add on lens. I wish these were 55mm instead of 58, then all my SLR lens would be available, but the fact you can add to this digital camera is great. The lens was first used to take a family reunion shot Works great. Lens and adapter both for 120.00. Not bad. Will next take picture at a baseball game. Wonderful experience to get new lens. Makes digital photography fun.

SirBill55 - (July 21, 2004) After experimenting with a few other 3rd party brands, this lens came out on top. It is by far the strongest lens that brings the telephoto side of the DSC-W1 to more than 7x optical. Which is a lot of zoon for a point and shoot compact digital camera. It also works on all other Cybershot series that have an attachment thread (Such as the P series and the W1.) So if ever you decide on changing for another Sony Digital (Cybershot), you can take these attachments with you. This lens (as other attachments)for the DSC-V1 and DSC-W1 have one major drawback which I didn't see anyone talk about during my PRE-Purchase research is that for DSC-V1 and DSC-W1, the flash is directly above the len

4 Star Review This is for 58mm lenses, not for 52mm

Wes2222 - (10/23/2008) Most lenses for the Canon G6 have a 58mm thread diameter. Be sure to measure your lenses to be sure. Some cheaper lenses have a 52mm diameter and require a different adapter. Unfortunately, both diameters are sold with the same Canon adaptor part number.

4 Star Review Good wide angle lens

wsn97 - (10/23/2008) I tried to find a cheap wide angle conversion lens for my Canon HF100. The Canon HF37 lens is hard to find and too expensive. I happened to see this lens online and tried it because of SONY's brand. The quality is really good for the price. The video has wider angle but I hope it could be wider. For the price, this is a great product.

4 Star Review EC-14 Nice addition

SLICKSTA - (07/16/2008) This is a nice addition to my Olympus lenses and works well with the 50-200mm and 50mm. I can't see any loss in picture quality and it's very compact and light.
