Posted Dec 18, 2006 - I plugged in the hardware, wired up the hifi and it worked -- straight out of the box. I installed the software - Nada. This means I get to control the system by plugging and unplugging the USB transmitter. No big deal, but with the software working I could just send music to the hifi and still enjoy those annoying bells and whistles from other software. The remotes work well, by the way.

Great Wireless Music System

Strengths:

Good audio quality, easy connect, great remote control

Weaknesses:

poor software control, it is not useful and kind of hassles.

Logitech wireless music system

Strengths:

I plugged it in without installing the software that comes with it and the equipment worked great.

Weaknesses:

I installed the software so that I could simultaneously listen on my desktop speakers and the remote location but the software created some conflicts

Posted Feb 5, 2007 - The equipment is nice looking, compact, and it works great. My computer is in the basement and I have don't have any problems getting reception on the main floor. The software, on the other hand, seems to create conflicts. So the moral of the story is if you can live without being able to listen on your desktop speakers and the remote location simultaneously this is a good inexpensive option for you.

Logitech music system

Strengths:

Fast and easy.

Weaknesses:

Can't figure why it doesn't work sometimes.

Posted Feb 4, 2007 - I had a DJ friend bring his laptop over for a party and it plugged right in and we jammed all night long. He thought it was the shizzy. You can't beat the Storefronts price!

Nice product but setup instructions are not good

Strengths:

Nice product and does what it is supposed to do quite well.

Weaknesses:

Setup instructions were not good. I had to take help from some of the reviews on Amazon to get this setup. Biggest problem is it doesn't respond to anything till it is fully charged for a day.

Posted Jan 10, 2007 - I connected my PDA (no iPod) to my Home theater using this and it worked really well. Very convenient. The transmitter is mainly desinged for iPods so doesn't look very pretty on other mp3 players. if i can ignore the setup instructions quality, i am happy with the product.

Very good Wireless System

Strengths:

No interference, stereo sound

Weaknesses:

none so far

Posted Dec 28, 2006 - This Logitech Wireless Music System can synchornize sound between a computer/ source and a home theater with an exceptional sound quality. You also get a remote. There is no interefere like FM counterpart. The batteries are rechargeable.

Strengths:

Extremely simple to hook up, extremely simple to use. The components are small and unobtrusive.

Weaknesses:

The included software is a little awkward, but you don't actually need it. Even with the great price through the seller I used, the item's a little expensive (and at the full-priced sites it might be

It's VERY simple to install, and even simpler to use, since you just use your computer's existing media player (Windows Media Player, Winamp, iTunes, RealPlayer or MusicMatch.)This little gadget has essentially made most of my stereo system obsolete- I never play CD's or the radio anymore, except through my computer. I love this thing.

Strengths:

Great range, good sound quality, easy setup

software, no display

Posted Mar 31, 2007 - The wireless music system has a range of 330ft, which is true. The sound quality of the music is not degraded when played over home system. The setup was easy and hassle free. The only bad parts are that the software is not the best and there is no display in the receiver end.

Nice product for the price

Strengths:

Very easy to install. Good reception. Price was right.

Weaknesses:

The remote seems a little buggy. Optional receivers are nice, but can only listen to one at a time.

Great Value for the money

Strengths:

Ease of setup & operation. Very good value for the money

Weaknesses:

remote is lacking compared to the Logitech wireless DJ system

Posted Dec 25, 2006 - I have used the wireless DJ system and really like the remote with that system, however I purchased this system for a fraction of the cost of the top of the line dj system. This system works perfectly without the software, however the software allows more versatility and functionality. I also had a Dlink wireless streaming system in the past and prefer this one over it as it is cheaper and easier to operate.
