Kodak C653

Strengths: Very compact with both eyepiece and LCD.
Weaknesses: None so far.
C653 is very compact with 32MB internal memory and take both SD/MMC. It is 6.1MP the pictures are very good. Has 20 screen mode I love it. Has anti shake technology helps to prevent from taking blurry in micro mode.

Recently I bought a Kodak C653 digital camera. The Panoramic stitching feature is not working in that camera. That is, after taking the first picture in panoramic mode, the overlay is appeared in the viewfinder but second picture is not at all able to take. Instead it was giving the message ‘press delete to cancel’.
I want to know, whether it is due to the bug in the camera firmware of the C653 model or the problem of my camera only. Is it so, how can I get rid of this problem?

Mine is working fine. Try this way after taking the first picture wait until the green light stops blinking, then the message pops up "press delete" at this point if you want to keep this picture as one of the pictures ignore the delete message and continue to take the next picture and if you want to delete the picture press delete button then press yes. After taking the second picture wait until the green light stops blinking again the delete message pops up, same as first one either delete or press ok to stitch two pictures in the panoramic view or take the third picture. After third picture you don't need to press ok to stitch it is an automatic process the camera does the stitching for you just wait for the process to begin and stop. Hope your camera works.
