BuyDig always seems to be about 2 months out of the pricing index... hoping their tax-free (for me) incentive works. On other aspects their pricing does seem competitive... not in this case. Hell it's a 10mpx camera for $129 (at Target).

THE GOOD: Attractive, ultracompact design; easy operation; well-rounded, basic feature set. THE BAD: Photo quality dips above ISO 200; flat buttons can be difficult to press accurately. THE BOTTOM LINE: Simple and stylish, the Canon PowerShot SD1200 IS is a fine back-pocket camera as long as your photo-quality expectations are reasonable.

Strengths: SMALL ENOUGH TO CARRY EVERY PLACE YOU GO FOR THOSE SPONTANEOUS GRANDKIDDS PICTURES, GREAT CAMERA FOR MOVIES, BRIGHT LCD SCREEN, TAKES ABOUT 1 sec TO START - 1.5secs SHOT TO SHOT WITH FLASH ON 3sec.
Weakness: WEAK BATTERY DOOR
AT THE STATE FAIR I TOOK 450 PICTURES AND 8 SHORT MOVIES ON ONE BATTERY CHARGE(SOME WITH FLASH IN THE BARNS AND EARLY MORNING SHOTS). I LIKE THE FLAT BUTTON ARRANGEMENT ON THE BACK OF THE CAMERA AND HAVE NO TROUBLE PRESSING THEM.
