snufalufagus1 - (September 24, 2004) I spent a LOT of time investigating digital cameras online -one would think I was buying a car or something. Anyway I am a novice camera user and remain very impressed with this little guy. I would certainly recommend it. The movie mode is great for 'vignettes' or small movie snapshots. I also use the black and white a lot. I also didn't think the LCD would matter very much, but it does: I never use the viewfinder. I appreciate the large size of the LCD when passing the camera around to friends to view pictures and movies. Hint #1: Immediately jack up the megapixel resolution to 5 so that you can capture moments in the best resolution possible. Then, bypass Sony's ridiculous profit margin

speaklightly - (August 21, 2004) As a professional digital camera lecturer, I must admit that the Fuji E-550 was a very pleasant surprise for me. Priced at about $340, this digital camera produced digital photos that were much sharper, more detailed, and more excellent than I, frankly expected. I found the digital camera very easy to use right out of the box. While this digital camera does have a 12mp interpolated image size available, I found the 6mp native image size to have more contrast, detail and resolution. SleepyReviewer - (September 20, 2004) Wow. That's the first thing I can really say about the EOS-20d. I've owned a EOS-D60, a EOS-10D, and for $1500, this camera blows everything else away. I don't plan to touch my other cameras after having played with the 20d for a week. The photos are amazing, the camera body is solid, and Canon solved nearly all of the complaints that I and other customers had about their previous digital SLRs. CommanderSparks - (05/21/2012) The printed manual that comes with the camera is useless to me. Light grey text on a white background is damn near impossible to read. Even with much sharper contrast, the print is so small I'd need a magnifying glass to read it. The manual also come on the accompanying disc, but printing it out is no good because the text is again too small. If I could convert the file to WORD format i could adjust the text to a readable size, but it's password protected. That is my only complaint. I very much like my green XP50 and I am sure my wife will love her orange one when she gets it.Garry Cameron, Port Alberni BC Canada

BreezyOhio - (05/16/2012) I bought a new TS3 and mine leaked right away. I had read, before buying the TS3 that seals need yearly replacement (they call it packing but it means the orange seal on the battery/mem card door). I read that the unit cannot be shockproof and waterproof at the same time. I rinsed it off in fresh water each time. I used the little brush to clean the seals any time to door was opened. I understood it all.I figured "I'm more careful than most and I will heed these warnings and it's a quality product so I'll get it because I like that it's good to 40 ft while others are only good to 33 ft."Didn't matter though .. it leaked on it's first trip, never mind that I was super careful in the handling of this unit. In my case the door seal didn't leak but the screen leaked and went out .. and the unit continued to take pictures.Weeks after I sent it in for warranty repair they finally got back to me stating that the seals worked and the unit passed their pressure test so IT HAD TO BE MY FAULT .. I was guilty in their eyes. I told them that only seal I can control is the door seal and it didn't leak. If the door seal would have leaked the camera would have shorted out and died. Instead it kept taking pictures. The battery and mem card stayed bone dry. Then they proceeded to try to sell me another camera .. really!The warranty dept's stance is "there is water in the camera, it's your fault". Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT IF A WARRANTY MEANS ANYTHING TO YOU. Really in every way (communication with the customer, time to repair, etc) Panasonic's customer service is just horrendous. Someone needs to clean house down in McCallen Texas.

jmraffaele - (04/27/2012) great pictures, great close ups, great quality, I cant say enough about it, I would take this older camera any day over a new one in its price range. This camera gives you pro shots at a beginers level, and if you step it up and know what your doing with the scene settings...forgetta about it, you got some quality pics, 4/27/12 and im not givin it upRaffaele
