Directron is a great place to shop. Their prices are competitve if not better than most ecommerce sites. I don't know much about their return policyu, because this is the first time I have ordered through them and have not had to return anything. But as a first time buyer, I am VERY pleased! |

Living in California, the sales tax is between 8.5 and 9 %. I think this is ridiculous. Of course, I'll shop in Texas and enjoy skipping the California sales tax. This keeps a few extra bucks in my pocket. Thank you, Directron. |

I was expecting delivery of my order by 9-19 or 20........it arrived today 9-16!!!!!!!!!!! The price on the items was outstanding.......I do wish shipping had been lower....but everyone else wants "free" shipping too!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely no complaints on this purchase!!!! |

Upon realizing I ordered the wrong part, I contacted Directron, to stop the shipment to try to save everyone some inconvenience. They were very rude and arrogant and then charged my credit card $16.45 for shipping a $32.95 part that I never even received! DEFINITELY WOULD NOT recommend to anyone!! They advertise a low price and then at checkout charge 2 to 3 times the shipping rate as other stores. My advice: Try Newegg or TigerDirect...They charge a fair price, fair shipping (sometimes free) and have EXCELLENT customer service. I know, I have owned and operated a customer service business for over 28 years! BUYER BEWARE!!! |

That's why they discourage anything but online ordering. If you get a defective product, good luck getting a resolution. wise up people, most of these good reviews kind of sound the same don't they? Because they're bogus reviews. Avoid this outfit at all costs. I recently discovered they jipped me on an old order, and shipped me half of the ram I ordered. The guy on the phone called me stupid for not noticing sooner and told me if I was a smart educated buyer I would have noticed their mistake sooner... I told him he sounded neither smart nor educated. He said he had an electrical engineering degree. I said I didn't see how an electrical engineer would be working telephone customer service for directron. At which point he called me "a stupid bastard" and hung up. |

My transaction was fast and easy; however, i don't rember seeing on the web page, were i plaeced the order, a notice of somekind that explain that the burner did not come with software. Otherwise, i would have been completely sastified, because now i have to spend more money on the burning software. |

I placed an order on 04/04/09 and received after few days. Unfortunately, the order was defective out of the box. I called Directron.com and requested replacement. Their representative recommended me to place a new order and their will refund when their received the defective one. However, instead of issuing full refund for the defective, they issued refund partially (minus the shipping charge). It means I have to pay: (1)to ship the defective to me, and (2) to return the defective to them, and (3) to ship the replacement to me. TRIPPLE SHIPPING CHARGES IF THE ORDER IS DEFECTIVE. WATCH OUT! I called them. Their customer service is rude and unreasonable. I agree that a product defective is not their fault. However, like other online stores, customer won't pay any shipping fee for the defective item, or, at worst, pay shipping fee to return, not paying both.
