Even quiter now that I have to wash by hand!

Posted 1 year ago - I purchased this machine because it had everything I was looking for in a dishwasher. Looked great, hidden controls, stainless steel tub, quiet, and matched my other appliances. I purchased it 2 years, 1 week ago. The machines motor just burned out - started flashing "LE" code. I spent $900 for this machine thinking I was getting top of the line - or at the very least close. The warranty expires after 2 years - called LG - thinking they might have mercy on me since it took a month from the time I bought it to get it - nope - 2 years from the date of purchase - period. Then they proceed to tell me I can only get parts from their authorized tech's - nice way to control prices. Long story medium - do your research - pay less and get more with a different brand - LG dishwashers stink. I have found many many others with the same issues.

Great Dishwasher

Strengths:

Ergonomics, quiteness, design features, size of stainless tub.

Weaknesses:

None to be found so far.

Posted Apr 25, 2008 - I find myself washing smaller loads just to keep the dishes from sitting in the tub too long. This unit is quite, quite, and quite. Sometimes I have to look at the control panel just to make sure it is running. Highly recommended!
