Strengths:

Great graphics, sound, usage

Weaknesses:

Depending on where the Dreamcast is made, it could die on you very quickly.

Posted Sep 21, 2003 - I love my dreamcast! Unfortunately it was previously used by my friend who is an avid gamer. But he gave it to me and I've been playing it since. The only problem is that it crashes on me often, depending on the game. But other than that, I think it's one of the greatest systems ever!

Strengths:

Lots of fun, reliable, pretty good graphics

Weaknesses:

Not made anymore, games can be more difficult to find, memory cards eat up batteries.

Posted Nov 20, 2004 - System works pretty good, no problems with mine. All items, games included can easily be found on the internet. I found many of the games much fun, and like it better than play station. ps2 and xbox may have some rival games, but pound for pound dreamcast is really good. Give it a try

Strengths:

Most games are good,the controller is perfect and the graphics are awesome!

Weaknesses:

There is no line for internet on Brazil(Sega hates us?)

Posted Jun 29, 2003 - Because I live in Brazil I don't have acess to games in stores anymore, but I'm still playing it!There are some games which never end, (Sonic Adventure 2 has so many secrets to get and so many modes of play that may totalize more than 150 hours of play)Very good games:Phantasy Star, Sonic 1 and 2, Crazy Taxi, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Vigilante 8 2nd offense, MDK 2 and the most perfect of all: Skies of Arcadia

Strengths:

small, very good games, made by sega, comes with modem, cheap, nice controler, memory card has a screen speaker and its own prossesor, very reliable (no faults ever)

Weaknesses:

the controloer has only 1 analogue pad and the machine is old (but then again so is ps2)

Posted Jul 24, 2002 - i have had a mega drive a playstation a dreamcast and an xbox in the past and dreamcast has definitly been the best ive had, every of its games ive played are good, even wetrix (one of its worse games) gave me as many hours of enjoyment as doa3 has on xbox. The online gameing is very fast and has no slowdown or lag as pcs do when you dont have broadband internet. It has hundreds of clasics like skies of arcadia. There is no reason not to buy one even now they stoped makeing it because games are still being made and they are cheap. oh and it beets the ps2 which realy doesnt live up 2 its reputation

Posted Jun 9, 2002 - The dreamcast is a very well designed game. I think it has better graphics than some of the new arrivals, like xbox, and playstation 2. I highly recommend this product to anyone. I have had mine for over 2 years now and I have had not one disappointment with it. The only thing I can tell you is GET ONE!!!!

1 Star Review Dreamcast Console

Strengths:

Bad,Bad. Did not work the day I got it. Did not get to play it at all, I wish people would have respect for others than to sell bad products on-line, because people its hard getting your money back.

Weaknesses:

Did not get to play the Dreamcast Console because when I got the game it did not work.

Posted 1 year ago - People look if you are looking to buy anything off the computer you need not to do the paypal because they are with ebay and you do not know what you are getting and they can not help you with getting your refund back. So don't be dumb thinking it would be like a good thing to go to paypal because they do not help you at all in receiving your refund back. I order this Dreamcast on May 4, 2009 and received it on May 13,2009 and it took that long for me to receive a lemon. The people knew that it did not work when they put it on-line shame on them to take peoples money like that. I will give them a day or two to responde to my e-mails than I will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau to have this site stopped. Times are hard enough for people to throw there money away for nothing. I learned my lesson real good. Do Not Buy from EBay and just do business with stores that I know I can take the product back for refund. Honest Customer.

Posted Nov 11, 2007 - Overall Dreamcast is a gem of a console that past away before its time, mainly just couldn\\\'t pull through the competition that in due time that it was ceased and exist. Still, its a great console worth mentioning because its one heck a of a fun console that never gets tiring for the years to come.
