The Yamaha DVD-S661 will please movie and music fans alike with its mix of cool features and great performance. This versatile player's high-quality construction and advanced video processing give you a crisp, vivid picture from all the DVDs in your collection. The S661 also plays discs you create at home, including those loaded with DivX video files as well as MP3, WMA, and JPEG CDs. I'm content with my purchase, for only about a $100 dollars its a deal!

Strengths:

I have NetFlix and most of the movies are scratched and this dvd player seems to work around that, quite a bit, better than my older Sony.

Weaknesses:

The only thing I have noticed is that it seems to take a while to load the dvd info. However, I don't see this as a major problem. Oh, and its not blue-ray, but I won't pay those prices anyway.

Posted 1 year ago - This dvd player seems to work well. I have no complaints thus far.I just hope it stand the test of time like my old Sony, I had for about 15 years.
