The Panasonic DMR-EH60D is supremely well specified. A chunky 200GB hard disk will store up to 355 hours of recorded video - useful for recording the many hours of television available via both the traditional analogue and Freeview tuners, built in to the "EH60".Timer programming is via VideoPlus or using the 7 day Freeview Electronic Programme Guide and you can record either direct to DVD or first to hard disk before editing your programming and outputting to DVD at up to 64 times normal speed. minimize

Panasonic DMREH60D Hard drive/DVD recorder with Freeviwe

Strengths: Records tv for up to 350 hours! Great machine.

Weaknesses: None so far!

Just what I've been waiting for for a couple of years. A freeview and analogue tuner, Hard drive recorder and DVD recorder all in one.

Easy to use once you've played for a while.

Can set timer with Video Plus (analogue stations only) , timer or by using the programme guide and highlighting the prog you want up to 7 days ahead.

Fantastic quality.

2 scarts and RF outputs. DV and phono inputs too.

I have a requirement for the Panasonic DMREH60D to record a digital recording from one device and at the same time record an analogue recording from another device , this is the reason for my following questions.

Can you record a freeview prog using the hard drive and at the same time record an analogue prog using the DVD recorder.

or can you record a freeview prog on the hard drive and at the same time record an analogue prog on the same hard drive.

I know its asking a lot but while recording two programmes at the same time can you view a third programme.

Can you view a freeview prog and at the same time record a different freeview programme.

Thank you for any information you may be able to offer.
