My First Gibson Les Paul
Wow! Just Wow! What a guitar! The range of sounds that this thing can create is right up there with the 3k plus models. Sure to bring a smile from even the most seasoned players.
Very rough finish may be an understatement. It's definitely sanded without any care whatsoever. Honestly though it's the sound more than the looks I was after.
Posted Apr 22, 2008 - I've never owned an 'official' Gibson LP due to cost constraints but when I found out about a true Gibson LP with those awesome signature pickups that gives every bit of sound that even the High End sanded & painted to the point of looking like they are wet all the time I was hooked. I can hardly wait to get home to play this thing & while I'm away I think about it all the time. I highly recommend this guitar to the musician on a budget but certainly doesn't want a budget sound. Just get it & I assure you that you won't regret it!
