As I live close by I decided to pay a visit to their site address: electricshop.com, 8 Acrewood Way,St. Albans,AL4 0JY Having entered an electrical shop and doing some browsing I overheard a telephone conversation of a disgruntled customer. I then approached the desk and asked the salesman about the item that I was after. Although it needed ordering, they were quite happy selling their display models. As they could not match the online price (which is quite normal with some retailers) I asked them if they had anything to do with the "electricshop.com?" "No was their reply". So I left and started looking around. I spoke to several other units in the area and approached the Postman in the next street who told me that I had indeed the correct address and location. So what's going on? Having spent a good 50 mins I could not find "electricshop.com". As this looks very suspicious and not something I would expect from a trustworthy company I have purchased else where. |

Comments only cover up to the point of ordering.Bearing in mind that the order was placed on 21/1.09 and that the appliance was quoted as being in stock, even allowing for bad weather delivery time gap was poor. Also Electric Shop never gave me any progress reports, only when i phoned up to inquire did i get an update. The one call I recieved was from the delivery team to arrange the drop. They were punctual and efficient. The deal was the cheapest I could find, combined with free delivery,this made up for any difficiencies in the overall service. |

i didnt notice any out of stock notices . thats great it means everything was in stock . this is a great site i only found it by chance. will definately be shopping here again. the shipping was free and between 5 and 7 buisness days . this was on the nail it took 7 days . |
