Preschoolers can learn the art of photography with this digital camera designed especially for them. With a 1.3" color LCD preview screen, easy navigation menu and wrist strap, it's meant to stand up to typical rough preschooler use. Kids can instantly see the picture they've taken on the LCD screen, or they can delete previous shots. It features dual handle grips ergonomically designed for little hands, and two-eye viewing that makes looking through the viewfinder a breeze. Features 640 x 480 resolution for quality 4 x 6 prints, 8 MB built-in memory for up to 50 pictures, SD card slot for increased storage capacity, easy navigation menu, USB cord for computer connection, camera software CD, built-in flash and a wrist strap. I love this camera and so does my daughter:)

Strengths:

For it being a kids camera it takes great pictures. It has a nice program for the computer that your child is able to do different things to the picture. It is very durable(trust me we tested it.)

Weaknesses:

If the batteries are about to die or they are coming closer to dying they won't take good pics in a dim setting.

Love It!!

Strengths:

Good pictures, durable has beed dropped down steps. oops.

Weaknesses:

Batteries have to be replaced after about two uses.

Posted Jan 1, 2007 - My five year old loves taking pictures of everything and anything. I can't count the throw away cameras I have really had to throw out due to my unexpected little photographer. Fisher Price just keeps getting better.

keep him happy snapping pictures

Weaknesses:

picture does not look great but it keep him happy

Posted Dec 28, 2006 - excellent gift i would reckamend it to all wouldbe snapper. it is safe and batter proof for all kids and adults my two kids will have many great moments with this toy

FUN

Strengths:

Very Durable-Fun Fun -Fun!!! Love that it turns itself off, as that seems to escape my daughter

Weaknesses:

viewer is poor quality, but I understand it would eat batteries to support one that is better or larger, wish pictures were at least 1 megapixal but.. she loves HER picures!

Posted Jan 10, 2007 - My daughter is 3 and this is all she asked Santa for this year. We saved it for the last cause we knew she would not be interested in anything else--We were right!!! She loves it. If you add the SD card , the camera will hold well over 150 pictures - That's the most we have had on there before she insisted they be downloaded ! :))

My daughter loves this camera. She is 4 years old ...

Strengths:

My daughter loves the camera! It is extremely easy for her to use at 4 years old and is very durable.

Weaknesses:

Picture viewing screen is not so clear.

Posted Jan 4, 2007 - My daughter loves this camera. She is 4 years old and figured out how to use the camera immediately. She has indeed dropped the camera numerous times and it has caused no damage. It takes surprisingly good pictures for a childs camera. The only problem I have with the camera is that the viewing screen is not very clear.

Awesome!

Strengths:

No more paying for photos of just the bottom half of everything and it's your childs own digital camera that won't break when it falls down the steps!!

Weaknesses:

It takes up to 70 some pictures and then you have to down load them on to the computer and with my 6 year old, she runs around snapping everything and then wants them downloaded into her file right aw

Posted Nov 6, 2006 - I would recommend this camera to anyone with children!! My daughter also got the music player, same brand, and it is just as tough! This is a great "toy" and worth every penny!!
