Beautiful cabinet ..... BUT .....
Absolutely beautiful, Sturdy, East to assemble
Shelves are NOT wide enough!
Posted 1 year ago - QUALITY & CONSTRUCTION: First of all, the assembly of this unit is a breeze. I have purchased quite a few "some assembly required" items over the years and this one ranks pretty high on ease of assembly. Every pre-drilled hole is exactly where it's supposed to be and the whole thing lines up beautifully. That being said, if you have never assembled furniture before, this is NOT a beginners project. The instructions were clearly made for someone who has done this before. I think they would be kind of confusing to someone inexperienced with do it yourself furniture. Once assembled, nobody could ever tell it wasn't bought in a furniture store. It is truly a beautiful unit. Five stars for quality and construction!!! DESIGN: Now here is the clincher. The reason this item gets 4 stars rather than 5. The shelves are too narrow. The cable box DOES NOT FIT. I'm sorry but who designs an entertainment center without ample room for electronics?!?!? MEASURE YOUR ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT FIRST! Check the dimensions and make certain you will have room for your stuff. It is seriously irritating.
