After making the mistake of falling for the lowest advertised price...i decided to give ephotocraft a try. I could tell the difference immediately. First off, they answer the phone on the second ring (none of that 20 min hold). Secondly, they quoted a price and didn't try to upsell me. Sure, i paid a little more than the lowest price, but it was definetely worth it. Thanks ephotocraft! |

price charged for shipping was different than price quoted when shopping Retailer Response (12/20/2005): The shipping quotes on price comparison sites (such as PriceGrabber, Shopping.com, etc) are only approximations of the real shipping cost. Because of this, disclaimers are always listed at the bottom of said pages that explain that shipping costs are only 'estimates' and to visit the store website for the actual shipping cost. At any rate, thank you for the business. |

I order only online and this is one of the BEST vendors online. Prices are good, service is top of the line. I love these folk. Got my D2x when NOBODY had any in stock in 2 days. No games, no "upgrades", etc. When I put in my order for the new Nikon D200, I only went here. Trully nice folk who deliver. |

(Edited December 15th by Mindi39) Before placing my order I entered my Zipcode and was given a cost for shipping. After I placed my order for one item the shipping cost almost doubled for standard ground shipping. I called them and was told that the first shipping is a estimate only even though only one item was priced and then ordered. It looks like they give you a low ball item and low shipping cost , then when you place your order the shipping cost is increased to cover the low item price. I would be very careful ordering. Retailer Response (12/20/2005): The customer found us through Shopping.com (a price comparison site); they allow you to input your zip code to get 'estimated' shipping costs. They have a disclaimer on the bottom of their page, stating: "Shipping costs are estimates. Please check store for exact shipping costs." The customer placed the order, realized the discrepancy in the shipping and called us. We tried to explain that the shipping cost they saw on Shopping.com was an approximation (the real cost was $7 more that what they saw on Shopping.com). Before we could tell the customer we would honor the price they saw, the customer abruptly hung up on us. We tried calling the customer back a few minutes later and were hung up on once again. We then cancelled the order and notified him via email of the cancellation. |

I am confused about why the actual shipping charges ($13) were higher than what was listed in the epinions.com shipping information area ($8.70). Even though it was only a few dollars different, I wondered why there was a discrepancy. |

Would liked to have shipped to my work address, but was warned that if I didn't have this alternate address on file with my credit card company, then I would not be able to order this item. I did not know this until almost through with the order. I had to backtrack in the order, etc. I understand the security reasons, but this was disconcerting to say the least! |

This is my second order with ePhotoCraft. Their product prices are very good, but their shipping seems expensive. ($15 for a 3 pound item via UPS ground.) Nevertheless, I would buy from them again. |

I searched the internet for a Nikon 18-200 zoom lens and found it listed on their web site as "available". I called their toll free order number and they had the lens in stock, as their web page indicated. When I hung up the phone, after ordering I returned to my computer to close their web connection. I noticed they had changed the lens status to "unavailable". They keep "Real Time" stock status on their web page. The lens was delivered in perfect shape, as promised. I'll order from them again. |

I've had heard good feedbacks of this merchant. They were the only store to have the Nikon 18-200mm VR available for a decent price. Shipped less than 24 hours after payment!!! |

Photo Craft's prices are among the most competitive on-line. I liked that they are an authorized dealer with two stores near me in northern VA, so I was assured that any needed exchanges would be easy. Each of the several times I called for advice on accessories and shipping times, the customer-service people were extremely helpful and kind. Shipping was lightning-fast. Everything arrived perfect. I will definitely shop here from now on for all my photographic equipment. I highly recommend! |
