This website is deceiving and false advertisement. I order a product from them and the product was in stock according to their website. I waited for over 2 weeks and did not receive my product, so I email them. I got an email back, informed me that the product is in back order and should be in within 5 to 7 days and they will shipped to me. I waited for 2 more weeks before I contacted them. This time, they told me, "We are sorry but we have unexpectedly run out of the item that you ordered and do not expect to have more in stock any time soon. We have no choice then but to cancel your order immediately." Right now, their website said that the product is in stock available for shipping. The price is higher. I ordered the product at a lower price. They did not want to honor their initial advertised price. This incident happened to so many people already. If you read the review at bizerate, you can see that this problem occurred more frequently with this online merchant. |

Being able to use paypal is a HUGE PLUS! Availability is also a huge plus. And a NY based company (Next state over) means fast delivery times for us MA residents. The item was in stock and ready to ship within 24 hours. However, When I checked the status online, the order was listed as invalid/cancled. I emailed Customer Svc and was informed they unexpectedly ran out of stock, but would be available in 3-5 business days. Each day I checked the web site and found the item was listed in stock. This is a deceptive business practice, and I would think twice to purchase from this company again. Very simple: Don't say you have it when you don't, don't make me contact you to find out you screwed up and don't have the product you claim is in stock! Please note that 9 business days is from NY to MA. |

it was pretty easy to go through the whole process. I do need to change my billing address because it automatically left it the same as the shipping address and this is a gift for my mom. I very well could have possibly overlooked changing it. I will definitely order from this company again. |

I ordered my bbq grill and was charged the same day. I did not received an order confirmation of any type until I finally dug up their phone number a week later from the pricegrabber support center and made etronics send me a sales receipt. Etronics finally shipped my grill one week after I paid for it, taking two weeks to show up with the wrong grill. Finally received the right grill 18 days after I paid for it and countless phone calls. By far the worst online purchase I have ever had from any web store! I would have preferred to have bought the grill down the street for full price than to go through etronics again. Also etronics is closed on Fridays! Isn't that terrific. |

placing my order was frustrating. i chose paypal, and i entered my email and card number (which are both different now than a while ago) and it created a whole new paypal account for me, and i had to close my old one. after all that, it told me to choose a different form of payment for whatever reason unknown to me. so, i did that, and after hitting the confirm button, my pop-up blocker blocked a pop-up and the page didn't display for quite some time. during that time, i was freaking out, not knowing what to do because i didn't want to be charged more than once, so i just waited (thank god...). the page finally displayed, but it took too long, and there shouldn't have been a pop-up after hitting the confirm button, because it interferes with displaying the page properly. *in addition* my order has been delayed for over a week and i still have not recieved it. |

I've purchased from etronics a number of times over the past couple of years and have been generally pleased. This time their web page had an offer of a $20 rebate for first-time users of their new payment option: eBillme. I read the information and it sounded good: you don't need to give any credit card information. Rather you make an electronic payment for your purchase from your own bank using information eTronics sends to you in an e-mail. When they receive the money they ship your order. What's not to like? After you have completed submitting your order you are directed to the eBillme link to claim your $20 Cash Back. This turns out to be some advertising gimmick that requires you to subscribe to some magazine. The first month is free and you can cancel at any time, but if you don't, then they will charge your credit card each month for the $11 or so subscription (...you know the routine).
