since xd are consider the fastest media out there , no problem with speed and the small size is a pain if you have a lot of cards but since i only use one i just leave it in the cam

This is a decent size card for use in low megapixel cameras or kids cemars. 256mb is not a lot these days. xd cards are a bit expensive but this has worked well for me.

I bought this card for my olympus digital camera. It works ok with my digital camera. It is small and looks cute. But it more expensive than my 256mb sd card. The main drawback is that it runs very slow comparing with my sd card when I copy the picture to my desktop. I will avoid to buy any digital camera using xd card because the card and card reader are expensive.

TopStrengths: Fairly sturdy. Stores a large amount of pictures on such a small card.
Weakness: Maybe too small (easily lost). Price.
Bought this from staples. It works great with my olympus stylus 410. Very quick speed. I also like the fact that its olympus (only packaged by lexar) to go with my olympus camera. My only complaint is the cost compared to compact flash or secure digital. Some who use multiple cards might find the size too small. But it works for me and I would buy it again.

I bought this card at OfficeMax last week, it works very well with my Olympus digital camera, a little bit pricy compared to other cards like SD or CF cards but overall it's good, cant complain!

This xD card is actually an Olympus, but it was packaged by Lexar. I like the fact the card itself is very tiny. I just wish they include a plastic case which you can store the card in.

I just bought it. After testing it on my digital camera, I can't say too much how I love this card. It's more than 10 times larger in capacity compared to the 16MB card coming with the camera. It's very easy to use. I'd like to recommend it to my friends.

I dont understand why Olympus makes their cameras compatible with XD cards and these cards are expensive. I personally would buy a CANON camera or a KODAK which uses the less expensive cards, however i am using an Olympus camera with XD card as i got them as a gift.

TopStrengths: Reliable; fast; compact; big enough in size for my needs
I've only had it for about a month, but I really like it. I'm using it on a 3.2MP digital camera, so its 256MB capacity is enough for me. It's very reliable, and the speed is ok. It's compact compared to CF cards. I'm very pleased.

Weakness: None that I have found.
I bought this Olympus brand product at an aftermarket price. I am very happy with it. It has plenty of memory and will hold plenty of pictures at the highest setting (4MP) on my camera. It will hold over 1,400 pictures at the lowest setting (VGA)!!! I love it and do recommend it to anyone looking for a great value.

TopStrengths: Great card, works as it should no problems, gives me over 250 pictures (!!) in HQ mode on my Olympus camera. Even though this was in Lexar packaging, it was really an Olympus card.
Weakness: Finding an inexpensive card reader. Most all-in-one card readers don't support xD.
I got a good deal on this card so I won't complain too much. I picked up the Olympus digital camera kit which does have a card reader in it that supports xD and SM. As I noted above most all-in-one card readers don't support xD cards so choose wisely. I think xD is a great medium and I hope it gains more support.

Lexar Media 256MB xD-Picture Card
Strengths: small and good-looking
Weakness: not as cheap as compact flash card
The card looks so small and attractive and 256MB is most suitable for a digit camera ( enough when traveling without a computer). The only weakness is it is not as cheap as compact flash card, which cost only around $20, but I think this tiny card is becoming cheaper and cheaper.
