5 Star Review Works well with Canon S5-IS

Strengths:

Comes with USB reader, handy since neither my laptop nor desktop will read SDHC (and I hate to use the camera cable). Capacity of 1500 pics on highest resolution, or an hour of 30-fps video is great!

Weaknesses:

'Faster' cards are available, but at a higher price. Fastest DSLR cameras may exceed this cards limits, but it has never lagged or slowed me down, keeps up with everything I have shot, video and pics

Posted Feb 11, 2008 - Prices on these seem to be dropping dramatically, this one was just under $20, without rebates. Paid more for prior non-HC 2G card just 4 months ago. These will undoubtedly be much cheaper in near future, but needed/wanted larger capacity for vacation. Now using SD-2Gb (camera's prior card) in laptop for Vista ReadyBoost. Good buy, reliable card, manufacturer 5-yr warranty. Sandisk including the USB card-reader made this purchase a no-brainer . . . using included USB reader to show travel pictures on virtually anyone elses PC or laptop. Plug n play.

Posted Sep 21, 2007 - Once I was sure the card would work with my new camera, I purchased it. It has worked great. The only downside is I can't use the SD slot on my printer to load pictures since it isn't compatible, however, with the included memory card reader, I was able to plug into the USB port directly on my computer. That is almost as convenient. It's great not having to carry as many cards or swap cards out when on vacation.

Strengths:

very fast card, comes with SDHC reader so it works on older computers not equipped with SDHC reader, lots of space, can hold thousand of pics, and almost 60mins of video at 640x480 resolution,

Posted Jul 14, 2007 - Relatively cheap when compared to other SDHC cards, comes with great warranty, fast. Works very good with my Casio Ex-Z1050 and I recommend it to everyone. The attached reader is a plus, makes it easy to transfer files to your computer instead of attaching cable to camera.

Strengths:

Great deal! Under $20!

Weaknesses:

A bit slower than other cards in terms of transfer rate but not readily noticeable

Posted Feb 14, 2008 - I plugged the card reader into my laptop, waited 5 seconds and it was ready to go (read: no proprietary drivers). I popped the card into my Canon SD800 (not slow-downs during shots), went to town taking pictures, plugged the card into the laptop and the pictures where there. For under $20, I am pleased as punch!

Posted Dec 1, 2007 - Got it on Black Friday for just $34 primarily for my "SD card" dependent portable GPS. I used to have the 1gig SD card but was limited to just a few maps of different states. Mainly east coast states. But now I can load up almost the entire US on one card! The USB is handy specially for my wife's MacBock, since it does not have an internal card reader. A great buy

Posted Sep 29, 2007 - I purchased this card to go with my new camera - I needed a larger card to for hi-res images. The card has performed well and the card reader is compact and easy to use. It also comes with software to install but I had no problems plugging in the reader and card. I would recommend this product and would purchase it again.

Strengths:

4GB storage with SD card reader

Posted Jun 17, 2007 - This is a very cool high storage SD card with 4GB. The SD card reader coming with the SD card inside package. The SD card reader is small and compact. 4GB SD card works greatly and data speed is good. The problem is its HC. You can not just plug in your SD card into the card reader in laptop or printer. You have to read out the data via the enclosed card reader. And my Dell X51v does not support this HC Sd card.

It won't work in non-SDHC devices.

Posted Jun 6, 2007 - Not much to say about this particular item other than that it's a 4gb SD card. The included reader is convenient & allows you to use the SD card as a 4gb flash drive as well as a SD card (albeit a larger, somewhat awkward flash drive). Read/write speeds are tolerably fast; they're roughly equivalent to the speeds of Sandisk's lower capacity SD cards (I tested this against a 512mb, 1gb, & 2gb card).

Strengths:

Card reader with USB connnection. High-capacity memory card to store all photos in a trip without uploading and deleting.

Weaknesses:

Price I paid was too high and should wait fot it to drop.

Posted May 24, 2008 - I have used the San Disk SDHC memory cards in my cameras including SD870IS and Nikon D40. All worked fine and I have no problem with the product. The speed is fast enough for both cameras. I also have fast tranfer rate to my computer with the reader. Highly recommended!

Posted Apr 12, 2008 - Yep the 4GB capacity is both a strength and a weakness. 'cause some devices has a limit of 2GB only. My canon digital camera is now ready for hundreds of pictures. I doubt that I will ever take more picture than this card can handle. And transfering pictures to computer for editing is a snap, thanks to the included SDHC card reader. You should do it often too, in case your card is damaged and you loose all your precious moments.

Posted Mar 29, 2008 - I bought this 4GB memory card to be used on my Garmin 350. And even though the Garmin spec only supports up to 2GB card, but it recognized this card and display full 4 GB of storage. Sweet !!! Now I have plenty of storage room on my Garmin for mp3, pictures ... And transfer files between the card and my computer is quick and easy, thanks to the plug'n play card reader. All this for under $20 (-$5 rebate, thanks PriceGrabber).

4 Star Review Sandisk 4GD SDHC w/ reader

Strengths:

Works, 4GB is a lot of memory, compared to the standard 2GB

Weaknesses:

Incompatible with older Multiformat readers

Posted Oct 24, 2007 - Works great with what is compatible with it, that is recent readers, cameras, etc. Thankfully, a reader is included and allows you to read the card in any PC. Forget about using you 1-year old multiformat or laptop-integrated-SD reader. You're warned about compatibility issues though, so ay least there is no surprise there. You would think it would only be a driver update, but it's not. Works great on my Nokia N800 (which is what I bought it for), but only after a firmware upgrade.

4 Star Review Worth it, but be careful

4Gig...do you need more?

Weaknesses:

Card reader "covers" are very fragile and break easily...I know.

Posted Oct 3, 2007 - Card and Card-Reader are great but the cover for the card-slot and the USB are very fragile on the Card-Reader. In fact, mine arrived with a broken USB cover. I am getting a full replacement, as that is how it arrived, but trust me...you get what you pay for in the card-reader (free).
