Just like many other PNY products I have owned, this PNY 512MB SD card works perfectly without any problem. The only concern is speed. There is no speed rating on the package, neither on PNY's website. Anyways, good products and right price. Will buy again!

Purchased this PNY 512 MB SD card for my Cannon digitial camera. The memory card worked right out of the packaging and did not have to format. I've taken over 150 photos and have encounter no problems. Highly recommend this product and the price was very competitive

TopStrengths: Good Secure digital flash card. Fit well with my Dell Axim X30 PDA.The writing and reading speed is good. It can store most software and data for my Pocket PC.
Weakness: None so far.
Got this Secure Digital Flash card at a reasonable price. I bougth it as an external storage card for my Dell Axim X30 Pocket PC. It fit very well with my Pocket PC and also works well. The data transfer speed for reading and writing data is satisfactory. I tried to load a file of 70M size to my Pocket PC from my laptop and it completed within a minute. This is a good SD card.

this card can not use on video record, but it kind of slow on loading the picture. i would to buy a higher speed card if you want to use it for recording.

Weakness: Slower Card, Not useful to record video
This card works fine for still photos. Relatively cheaper as compared other brands like sandisk. It will not work for video recording. I used this card for Nikon 5200 Camera.

for digital camera. completely acceptable considering recent sale at frys. other cards available in same price range but need to jump thru hoops on rebate, so this one is easier.

PNY has always been high quality. They offer a lifetime warranty. No problems. Good deal after rebate.
Poped it in and it worked well. Very satisfied with this SD card.

TopStrengths: Cheap ($20 on sale at Fry's). Good quality (made by Toshiba in Japan).
Weakness: Transfer rate is approx 1.5MB/s, not enough for high quality movie.
I was surprised to find that this product was actually manufactured by Toshiba in Japan (stamped on back of the SD card). I was expecting something really generic. It works perfectly fine for photos. I found a great deal at Fry's for $20, and it didn't even require a rebate!
The only issue would be with the transfer rate, which is not found in any specs (on the packaging or PNY website). This is important for movie mode. I did my own tests with my Canon SD200 and estimated the transfer rate to be around 1.5MB/s. This is not fast enough for 640x480 @ 30fps movies.
At 640x480 @ 30fps (~2MB/s), it was able to record 1 minute before the buffer ran out. At 15fps (~1MB/s), it was able to record 5+ minutes, so I assume it can sustain indefinitely.

This card works great, although it isn't a newer high speed variety. I have had no problems with this card at all. PNY usually offers lots of rebates, so be sure to wait for the right time to buy if you can.

Got this at Staples for a great price. Works well in my Pocket PC and also in my digital camera.
I would buy another one at this price. I have always had great luck with PNY flash memory products.
I wish SD cards were this inexpensive.

It is the first SD card I bought, it work very well with my new canon SD500: taking pics or record a video. It can store 200 pics in very fine resolution.
