Sony 2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Card

Defective

Posted Jan 24, 2008 - I thought I was getting a deal on this High Speed Memory stick PRO Duo, but all I got was a headache. I first tried using it with my PSP, but all the files would become corrupted. At first, I was scared that the problem was with my PSP, but then I tested the card in my Sony camera. EVERY picture that I took with the camera was lost when written to the card. Some images were all chopped up, while others couldn't even be viewed. I'm very dissapointed with this poduct, and can only hope that Sony will send me a new one.

Memory stick stopped working in my Sony DSC-W55 di ...

Posted Mar 31, 2007 - Memory stick stopped working in my Sony DSC-W55 digital camera. The error is reinsert memory stick error C 13:01. Both camera and memory stick are made by Sony. Sony has no solution to the problem. Buy another camera and memory stick!

Sony 2GB Memory stick pro duo 80x

Posted Apr 5, 2006 - I got this for my Sony DSC-N1. I have been very happy with its performance. Very fast, large size memory. I use my camera at the maximum resolution of 8Mb per picture. I did not notice any lag writing or reading the pictures. Have not seen any problems in temperature variation.

Posted Jan 5, 2006 - I would recommend this chip for whoever not looking for a lot of writing speed, for example, PSP gaming! It says high speed. I guess it means high speed on READING.

A Good Reliable Memory Stick!

Posted Nov 18, 2005 - Well, I recently got this memory stick for about the same price as a the regular Sony 2 gb pro duo because of an ad mistake at Fry's Electronics. I do own the regular 2 gb Sony stick pro duo so comparing the transfer speeds was not too difficult between the two. The performance between the two sticks was noticeable where the Hi-speed obviously trasferred files such as video at a faster clip. Speed is about 8 mb per second compared to a slow 2-3 mb per second on the regular 2 gb Sony pro duo. I used the Sony memory stick reader in doing the transfers. I use this mostly for my PSP and might use it on my Sony DSC-T33 camera later on.

Posted Apr 6, 2006 - Sony 2 GB memory stick pro duo high speed is very good all around if you're not a real critic in performance. High speed as what sony says but doesn't deliver it. It's faster than the regular memory stick pro duo but not fast enough. So far I don't have any problems with it. Make sure when you buy one to check the price of all sellers because others tend to overprice especially retailer stores, also compare it with other brands.

Posted Aug 11, 2006 - Over all this is a great deal for me, I have just under 2 gigs of mp3s in my collection. I know small compared to some but I'm very picky, someday when the 4gig is cheap I will get that.

Great memory with lots of storage!

Posted May 3, 2006 - I bought this card for my 4 Megapixel SONY digital camera. I am very happy with the amount of pictures and video it can hold (more than 1300 pictures with highest resolution). Now I do not have to worry about the memory anymore! Its transfer speed is also very good. With an adapter (came with my purchase) it can fit into regular Memory Stick Pro slots as well. Great product!

Great Xmas Gift

Posted Dec 11, 2005 - realy fast speed, great for PSP gaming, movie, music, photo and great for all some cameras, DV, pda. huge capacity. hold up to 10 psp games, 4 hours psp movie, 1000 musics, up to 10000 photos, up to 2 hour video record.

2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Card

Posted Apr 29, 2006 - I have been using this card in my camcorder for 3 months. It works very well and captures MPEG4 images quickly. I haven't measured the data speed but it works fine capturing full-motion video in my camcorder.

Sony 2GB Memory Stick Pro Duo Card (High Speed)

Posted Apr 18, 2006 - I use this memory stick with my PSP and it works wonders! It was much faster than the one PSP came with. Of course I was leaning toward SanDisk's memory stick, because it's cheaper. But I was happy and surprised to see the seller selling for such a low price. If you want to copy from one memory stick to another, I would strongly recommand using USB cable. Otherwise you have to swap the memory sticks at least 10 times depending on the size of the game data!

Sony High Speed Memory Stick Pro Duo 2GB (MSX-M2GN)

Posted Mar 2, 2006 - I bought the Sony MSX-M2GN 2GB High Speed Memory Stick on a fairly good price for its large capacity and its claimed speed of 10 MB/sec (80 Mbps); however, I tested both my MSX-M1GS (claimed speed of 1.875 MB/sec or 15 Mpbs), and the new MSX-M2GN but found out that the High Speed only gives an output of ~ 4.23 MB/sec, where the normal Sony Pro Duo 1GB actually has a faster-than-claimed speed of 3.50 MB/sec, even though still a bit slower than the High Speed. But since on pricegrabber the high speed is actually cheaper, I'd recommend buying the high speed instead of the normal Pro Duo. Now I just need to wait til someone buys me an SanDisk Ultra for me to test!

2GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Card

Posted Jan 23, 2006 - The 2 GB Memory Stick Pro Duo with the adaptor for regular Memory Stick sockets work perfectly. The fact that it is a Duo means it will also work in devices that require the Duo. The only way it could be better is to contain 4 GB.

2 GB High Speed Memory Stick PRO Duo card with magicgate

Posted Jul 29, 2006 - I would highly recommend the 2 GB pro duo card - lightning read and write speed. Fastest of any type of card I've used. Haven't encountered any issues at all. Very happy with this product.
