rjsjmilo - (August 24, 2004) Bought 3 of these after reviewing many flat screens. No dead pixels noted on any of the three. Great picture, very sharp. We do video production, graphics and high end photography, so I was worried about flat screens and their resolution, color reproduction & refresh rates. The 910t is not as good as CRT's for full screen video, but for 1/4 or 1/8 size rack video, which is what most video editors use, the refresh rate presents no problems. Graphics and imaging work is as good or better than upper end CRTs and much easier on the eyes - with no glare. Blacks are black, contrast is very good, colors accurate, sharp and vibrant WHEN used with DIGITAL inputs. We use Monaco calibration on all of a

vp912b - (October 05, 2004) Awesome LCD. Throw away your old CRT there's finally an LCD that performs. At 83 to 125 frames per second using my DVI interface this LCD has NO ghosting or blurring at all. So far I've played Far Cry, Battlefield Vietnam, Doom 3, and Call of Duty with unbelievable picture quality. I received my LCD from triocomputers online, the box was beaten up but I'm happy to say there are NO dead pixels and the screen with the new glare 2H glass treatment is the best looking screen I've ever seen. It is like the Sony Xbright LCD screens but sweeter. I have to say for the $727 this cost me it is nectar..so sweet. I have it set to the 1280x1024 native resolution and I never thought I would be able to r

dmjseller - (June 21, 2005) I was eying the wonderful LCD ever since Dell made the announcement in March 2005. It was initially introduced with coupons that brought the $1200 MSRP down to $899. I missed out on that, but decided the next time the price dips that low, I am taking the plunge. After taxes, my final price came in just under $1k. That is an amazing price if you consider what the competition sells their similar spec product for. Right out of the box, the physical set up instructions are simple and easy to follow with the included flow chart (mounting it on the included stand, attaching the appropriate cables, etc). But once you turn on you computer, things get complicated. First, there is no physical ma

1 Star Review Garbage

flintinfl - (11/04/2009) I purchased this monitor 13 months ago. I was never satisfied with the picture (think old school, low end LCD displays). Now, there is such a horrible double image, that it's almost unusable. This happened literally 3 weeks after the 1 year warranty expired. Save yourself the headache, don't buy this monitor.

1 Star Review Smoldering Samsung SyncMaster 22" Monitor

rockyrun4525 - (09/29/2009) This is a heads up for anyone with a Samsung SyncMaster 2220WM monitor - mine started smoldering and filled the house with the fumes of burning plastic - which are poisonous (especially for children and pets). I was lucky that I was up late and was able to unplug it as soon as I realized where the smell was coming from. (the billowing smoke from the back of the monitor was a dead giveaway). What if I had been upstairs asleep? (which is where my children were). What if I had not been home? Our Fire Dept said that anything hot enough to start smoke billowing from burning plastic could ignite to a fire. Samsung Customer Relations didn't care - "just send it in and we will fix it". The smell of the burning plastic clung to my carpet and furniture. I had to rent a Rug Doctor to get the smell out of the house. So play it safe - Please turn off your Samsung monitors when you are not home - MORE IMPORTANTLY - when you go to sleep!!. If you are looking at a new monitor - please keep my experience in mind.
