draeburn - (May 31, 2005) This is my second KitchenAid product. I've been using a KitchenAid hand mixer for over 20 years that is so well designed and built that I never needed to bother with a stand mixer. Based on my very positive experience with the hand mixer, KitchenAid was the first brand I considered when I needed a food processor. Sizewise I wanted more than a chopper, but also something that could stay out on the counter all the time so it gets used. Yet it shouldn't be in the way the rest of the time. The KFP710 fits that bill perfectly... big enough to do most of what the big units can do, small enough to stay out of the way when not being used. Beyond its "perfect" size, the KFP710 has been a

ankrishn - (February 11, 2004) This is just a small amount bigger than a coffee machine so it does not take up much room which is nice if you only have limited space to begin with. The base of the food processor is hard plastic. The control pannel is flush with the food processor which makes cleaning it up a breeze. All you have to do is wipe it off with a damp rag. You have your regular on, off, and pulse buttons as well as a new added feature of dough button. This comes with a 11 cup clear, plastic bowl that has a solid white plastic handle. This makes it so easy to get in and out after using. There is also a dough blade that has short dulled blades to cut through the dough easily. You can make up to three pounds of d

bluetpe - (October 18, 2004) According other reviews, some people have problems with this food processor. I used it couple times and there was no problem. The power is big enough to Chop, mince, slice, shred, and knead. I bought several products from Black & Decker and I thought this a good (decent) brand. This is my first food processor and I really enjoy it. Recommended!

The cheese shredder "par excellence"
catudalg - (11/03/2009) I tried so many before I stumbled on this one and we hit the jackpot. I was so delighted that I offered one to each of my children. We use it primarily for shredding cheese. The shredding cone could be stronger though. We destroyed 2 in the 10 years we've been using it. This is understandable since cheese causes a lot of friction. So, if you intend to use it for cheese, you might think of buying a spare cone up front.

Product: FP1445 Quick N Easy Plus Food Processor (8 Cup, 400-Watt, White)
Patchb - (05/04/2009) This is an amazing product. The instructions said to use it for 10 minutes at a time (with a 10-minute shut-off period). That concerned me. However, I was able to grind 3lbs of meat in less than 10 minutes! Other meat grinders I checked out suggested you freeze the meat for at least an hour - not this machine - it ground it right up. Set-up/Clean-up is a breeze. Not only is it good looking, it is also lightweight and extremely powerful.
