I bought this for my girlfriend’s office for her birthday and she cried at the sight of how thoughtful she said I was... and then when I plugged it in and turned it on, she balled her eyes out after seeing that I took the time to put over 50 pictures of us over the past couple years. - This Photoframe is very useful. It reads files from the major memory card styles, and you can either leave them on the memory cards and view your photos from there or copy them to the internal memory to view them without using the card. Alternately you can connect it with a Mini USB cable to your PC and copy photos over to it just like a jump drive. It also has the

Norske8 - (December 14, 2006) This is a perfect gift for a loved one, especially if you can do all the dirty work for them ahead of time and move the photos from your computer to their frame. The software makes it easy to accomplish but it is always nice to be able to use the gift right out of the box. After buying this as a gift I now want one for myself! I compared the Westinghouse frames and the Phillips images appeared much sharper and more colorful.

rideutah - (October 16, 2006) I really liked my photoshare despite the poor resolution. However, after just 6 months it has stopped working. The image is still there, but there is no light to the screen at all. If I look really close I can see what is displayed, but it isn't lit up. I am very dissapointed in this, and it is difficult to find the manufacturer, or even figure out how to get a warranty claim.

1 Star Review Support is almost non-existent

tmoore250 - (05/03/2009) When this product works, it works well. However, if you have a problem, support is almost non-existent. Recently, I tried to load a card of additional pictures to my SPX8 frame. After a reasonable period, it stated "Optimization Complete" and entered the slide show. However, the pictures are not on the frame. All that is there are the the pictures I started with. After multiple tries, I decided to use the frame controls to delete all the pictures and start over. I went through the steps to "Delete All" and was presented with a progress bar indicating the deletion was happening. When it completed, the frame entered the slideshow mode, using only the folders page as the image. When the frame was turned off and back on, the original 877 pictures all reappeared. Finally, I connected the USB cable to my computer, viewed the General folder and deleted the 877 pictures there. When I went through the Windows "Safely Remove Hardware" steps and disconnected the USB cable, the original 877 pictures all reappeared. I have called customer support and sent numerous messages. The only reply I received was a voicemail stating they were backlogged and would contact me in 48-72 hours. That was 13 days (9 business days) ago.

Sharonk42 - (04/10/2009) My sister gave this to me as a gift and I loved it while it was working. It stopped working about 3 months after I received it. I have tried going to the photoco.com website and I have also tried numerous times to call using the number provided on the website but no one will answer or return any messages.

GHansen500 - (01/11/2009) Well, I just received my second [not so]'smartparts' digital picture frame to find it's just as faulty as the first one. The first one loaded up ~100 photo's, and began working great! I installed another 150 photo's as this was a gift to my Mom. Upon completion of the upload, the frame would display the first 3 photo's, then turn off. It would start right back up, display the first 3 photo's, then turn off. I searched high and low for support on this issue. Looking for a firmware upgrade or something... ANYTHING! I emailed the company support address... That was 2 weeks ago, NO RESPONSE! Returned unit for exchange. New unit, display's setup screen for a few seconds, then shuts off! Same behavior as the first one, only this time It's barely out of the box with the power cord plugged in, no installing my own photo's... DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS CHINESE JUNK!!!
