My wife and I ordered four stools from this vendor in late October (2011). The stools were competitively priced and they were delivered on time. However, the boxes they came in were literally in shreds... it looked as if someone had been using them for kickboxing practice prior to delivery. Fortunately, there didn't appear to be any damage done to the stools... but it was immediately apparent that one of the stools was defective. A cross-brace on the bottom of one stool was welded improperly... it wasn't even close to being level, as it should have been. I contacted Furniture Domain immediately, and sent them a photo of the problem to make things easy. The reply I received said they'd "contact the manufacturer". ...Are you kidding me? While the manufacturer is probably to blame, they're not the one who sold me the stool. This approach to "resolving" my problem is a joke, and a complete dodge of a legitimate complaint. Very disappointing. |

Order was shipped in two boxes unbeknown to us. We filed a missing legs request only to have the legs come in the next day in it's own box. It would have been nice to know there were 2 boxs in order. |

I orders an item that showed in stock and was confirmed with a phone call to the company. 2 days later after we were charged we received an email that the item would not be available for almost 2 months. We called for a refund and was told it will be processed (Others have had problems getting credits from this company so we shall see). When asking for a supervisor I was instead transferred to a voice mail. The price was great but even a free item that's not available is useless. All I ask is that a company not lie to me. |

Very easy finding the site with the specific item I wanted. Then I found the price for it was reasonable and with the free shipping great. The only negative is that I was offered a "purchase bond guarantee". My wife and I think if the purchase is canceled we wouldn't want to buy from the firm anyway and that would be false advertising and liable. The "purchase guarantee" is blocking the ratings so I will "no answer" what I can't read. |
