The shopping experience with them was okay. Ordering was easy and the item arrived within 2 days. There were missing bits from the shed that I had bought. It took 2 weeks to sort this out! One thing to watch out for though is that customer reviews on their site are vetted. Only reviews which give 4 or 5 stars get listed. I reviewed my shed at 3 stars and it's never appeared on their site, despite several emails (all ignored) asking why this is. So take the reviews with a pinch of salt!

I have had the misfortune to deal with 'Kybotech Ltd' on two occassions. One for the above-mentioned Garden Shed 06/09/04 and once a few days ago for a Garden Furniture 'Set' that I eventually cancelled. They go by lots of different names www.gardencentredirect.co., gardenbuildingsdirect.co.uk, etc, etc but the service, or, lack of it remains the same. Once they have your money they are not interested. They do not publish on their website anything other than 5 stars from reviewers who have received products from them, so watch out! Don't try to email them when something crops up as they are never answered. Very poor service indeed.

Warning, do not buy anything from this company. I ordered a garden storage box 3 months ago and it has not arrived. Endless attempts to get through to customer services/sales but constantly engaged (try for yourself 0871 230 0380). Successfully got through once to be told they would have to look into it and call me back, but they never did. They are dishonest and unscrupulous.

This is the worst company I have dealt with over the internet. Once I placed my order 1 part arrived. After spending countless hours in queues on the phone paying an 0870 premium rate the advisor on the phone would never ring back and emails went unanswered. Eventually we decided to cancel and low and behold the parts arrived the day before the original parts were to be returned. Please spare yourself the hassle of dealing with this inept company.

As per the reviews below - DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. We placed an order for a shed on the 24/06/07. We chose this company as they promise a 5 working day delivery period and, as we had a family party on the 7/7/07 and this was going to be converted to a "pubshed", needed a speedy delivery. We have also tried daily to contact them on their premium number and sent numerous e-mails (all of which have gone unanswered). The last e-mail sent on 9/7/07 requesting a full refund, as it was not delivered in time for the party, has also gone unanswered. I feel foolish as I did lots of research before purchasing this product and was also taken in by all the 5* reviews.

I've had the worst experience with this company, firstly the website is rubbish I couldn't ever check my order status. Once I had sorted out a delivery date I took the day off work, but when the lorry came they hadn't even put my order on it! Then when they did deliver it, it was broken, each little clip that connects the sides were snapped, which makes it impossible to put it together, so basically it was worthless. I then called to sort out a refund but was told by an advisor that I had to email over pictures as proof?! What a joke! The item was faulty upon delivery and to actually speak to anyone you have to dial a national rate number (0871) which you will be on hold for at least 20 minutes listening to awful hold music. Trust me if you have issues and need to call, be prepared for long waiting times and rubbish service. I finally got my money back after one month from placing my order. One star is being very generous as you can see from the other reviews I think people agree
Retailer Response (02/05/2008): Firstly the delivery, we would not send a lorry to a customer if an item hadn't been loaded as the driver would have no paperwork for the item. It is our company policy to request photographs of any damage (as it was not faulty) to an item which is clearly stated in our terms and conditions. Once we have these we can see the problem for ourselves and act accordingly. Our contact centre call times are on average less than 2 minutes waiting time this can vary at times of high call volumes. If a customer does not wish to use the phone service we do offer the email support line as an alternative means of communication. Refunds are issued in accordance with our terms and conditions.

(Edited February 19th by Sengadog)  I purchased a bike store in November 2007. When it arrived part of the side was damaged and it was missing its instructions. I telephoned them to let them know the problem. They couldn't have been more help they promised to pass the information on. The instructions were emailed and it took another 5 days to get the damaged part replaced but I am more than happy with the product and their service especially for the price. Playhouse arrived early one morning as promised by email and a phone call from the driver, I found it very easy to put up with the instructions supplied, it took about 3 hours. The main thing is kids love it, even the cat has found a new home lol. I would deffinately recommend Garden Buildings Direct and teh servcie they have provided. Overall Rating

Purchased the Mad Dash Peardrop Xtra Playhouse previously which was missing the roofing felt (which was dealt with very speedily) and decided to purchase the ezebase as well.
