Posted Jul 8, 2002 - I like animation – anything from classic Disney to anime. I don’t think of anything as “too young” for me, so I’ve gotten the chance to see a lot of different movies, from the mainstream, to things that are a little off the beaten path. Stallion: Spirit of the Cimarron, recently released by Dreamworks pictures, garnered reviews which included such observations as: “Wow! An animated movie where the animals don’t talk!” Above and beyond such simple observations, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron set out to tell a different version of the settling of Native America than the one told in Pocahontas. - Read Full Review
