Gameplay is addictive and can last hours at a time ...

Strengths:

This game tries to expand the notorious Frogger arcade hit from the 80's by bringing an adventure-type gameplay and increasingly difficult missions to accomplish.

Posted Dec 8, 2004 - Gameplay is addictive and can last hours at a time, although it is frustratingly repetitive to have to repeat the same parts of levels again and again and again until you clear the level. Still, it's quite entertaining and surely ranks as one of the better games for the platform. What more can I say about this game except to say it's cool, colorful and definitely a blast to play. Course, Frogger's always been a blast to play no matter how it's played.

Good game for frog fans

Strengths:

Interesting to play for children

Posted Jun 23, 2007 - My son loves frogs and liked this game. He played for a while and plays with it if he happens to come across it again. The graphics are OK and the game is challenging enough to keep up the interest in the game.

Short but fun

Strengths:

Fun gameplay

Weaknesses:

Too short; aside from certain points, a little too easy

Posted May 30, 2007 - This game is reminiscent of the classic game, but the additional touches add to the appeal. The stages are far more expansive and varied, and the boss battles are a nice touch. I thought the game was a little too short unfortunately, and perhaps a little too easy. I managed to breeze through the game in about a week while playing for an hour or two a day. There were certainly a few difficult and frustrating spots, but not enough to really hold me back for too long. The amount of enjoyment you get out of this will probably vary depending on your skill level. If you're an expert game player, you may want to pass. If you're an average or below average player, this might be worth picking up cheap.

Amusing little timekiller

Strengths:

Nostalgia value, new graphical touches

Weaknesses:

Actually difficult in places

Posted May 13, 2007 - My kids were turned off by the difficulty of some of the levels. However, seasoned GameBoy players can master this title. Those of us old enough to remember the original Frogger will smile while playing this title.

A Fun Game

Strengths:

This is a fun game.

Weaknesses:

Sometime it is challenging and I don't know how to overcome.

Posted Apr 23, 2007 - I am adult and get this for my daughter. However, I think it is a little challenging for my daughter and even for me. The best thing is I can save so I don't need to restart every time. However, I wish I can get some hint when it is hard to beat. Otherwise, I tried too many times. I should say this is a good game. But this is Video Game version. I don't have too much time to sit in front of TV. If there is Palm version, it will be much better. So I can play on the train.
