I am a watch collector for many years and I purchased a expensive watch from the Gemnation. It arrived very quickly especially for coming internationally. Yes, I have to pay duties when it arrived, but calling to the Gemnation was very good because I have excellent service from the people who answer the phones. They are very polite and helped me to make the purchase. The watch comes in properly wrapped packages and in perfect condition with everything that they promised to me. They are good at what they do, ONLY PROBLEM FOR ME WAS, MY SECOND WACH- I PAY $500 MORE, compares that I can get at http://www.jomashop.com/oris-limited-edition-678-7598-7184mb.html. I call them and ask what they can do about that, it is a big difference in the price gemnation.com $2395 and /www.jomashop.com $1917 for identical watch. After several minutes on hold, I been told what nothing they can do about it, if I want I can return the watch at 10% restocking fee, but nobody care to keep me like an customer( in very polite form). I want to say gemnation.com it is overpriced for watches and I am not going to buy from them anymore. Retailer Response (03/16/2008): Gemnation provides significant discounts over retail pricing on many of the items it carries. We do not price match on wristwatches and for a customer to provide a low rating because our price was higher than a competitor hardly seems fair. The customer was welcome to price compare before making the purchase, and our policy of 10% restocking fee on wristwatches is clearly stated on all watch detail pages and at checkout. The item in question is a limited edition watch with a retail price of $3,195. The customer received a discount of $800 on the retail price. Should all online vendors be subject to match the lowest price of any other vendors pricing? Moreover, should price be considered in isolation?	Overall Rating

There was not a stocking inventory on there website. I had to purchase the merchandise from another vendor. Retailer Response (06/06/2007): Item was available at time of listing on Pricegrabber. However, in accordance with company policy we sell first-come-first-served. Another customer had placed an order for the same watch shortly before the abovementioned order, before we had the opportunity to remove the item from being advertised. Unfortunately the customer did not wish to receive a similar product immediately (at a further discount for his inconvenience). Nor did the customer wish to keep the order and receive the watch within six weeks.	Overall Rating

Earlier this year, I bought a Baume and Mercier Ladies watch for my fiance. The price was great, the watch is beautiful. It arrived three days after the order. After receiving the pendant, the ruby was slightly different than described on the website. The website said: Hue Red, Saturation Medium, Tone Medium. But, my fears were ungrounded. The order arrived a day earlier than expected. A gorgeous Zenith watch for my husband. He loves it! The watch arrived, as promised, with all the papers and packaging, and I paid 30% less than the local store. The service was exemplary.
