donkelley - (July 11, 2005) Just beautiful. Buy this amp - you won't be disappointed if you have a nice guitar, know how to play and you know how to setup an amplifier properly. If you appreciate great tone and the subtleties in your playing then you'll love this amp. Does a hell of a good job at fenders, marshalls, voxes (REALLY good), dumbles (actually VERY convincing side-by-side), boogies and more. Decent effects but I only use reverb and delay - others are better with real pedals IMHO. I'm a pro player, 20-odd years of pro playing, session mostly plus everything from jazz and classical to grunge and speedmetal. This amp does 'em all as well as my big amps used to, although often without quite as much pow

rcworsfo - (March 24, 2005) I have never been so pleased with a product. It can do so many things right out of the box. The presets are awesome and the flexability is easy to get familiar with. So much that it can do. With the 1/4 inch output jack when you plug it into a larger amp it really cooks.

bs03751 - (July 29, 2006) Why buy a practice amp, when this one will get you from practice to rehearsal? For larger venues, this amp also can directly drive a PA system and simply become the stage monitor, and has a headphone output for private practice. It works well for all venues, unless you want to stand behind a stack for the "stage presence and showmanship". The BXL3000 has a black front panel, vs. the white-sliver one shown in the image. Lots of bang for the buck, and pretty good sound. This would be the last amp many beginning bassists would ever need to buy (forget about those small practice amps, because you won't want to practice if you don't feel the bass and it doe
A good instrument that is worth looking for
Mohlar17 - (12/28/2011) I bought an Invader some time ago and after having the tuners and pots replaced it has become a first class little instrument. Not a lot is known about the Invader. If you want to see and hear the instrument and also find out what information is known search Youtube for an upload. Type this keyword and keyphrase into your search engine:Youtube "epiphone invader"Although originally sold as part of a pack, the INvader has now become something of a minor collector's item and is well worth chasing down.

raclark - (09/30/2009) Two channel, independent volume, no master. Three EH 12ax7, Two JJ 6L6GC's. Effects loop jacks are on the control panel. Class A - A/B texture control on the back panel. Footswitch switches channels and turns boost on/off. Pretty straight forward. Simple is good. The first thing that struck me about this amp is the clean channel. Think shimmering Fender, no, think solid state Peavey. It's that clean. Slap-back echo comes back clean and true. Country pickers are gonna lose sleep playing through this amp. It dials right in and loves effects. I put a Boss CS-3 compressor in front and the Carvin FX2 in the effects loop. Go subtle with the effects and you can get impressively close to Brad Paisley's Train Wreck tone. Pushing the back end (6L6GC power section) gives tube compession with very little breakup. Use a Tele and think Sweet Home - Skynyrd. The dirty channel is characterized by the 12ax7's. This is in no way Marshall EL34 tone. It's gritty and decidedly American tone. It will do American scoop through a 4x12 cabinet, but not through the stock speaker. I'm not knocking the stock speaker. It does everthing I want it to, but if you're gonna play George Lynch, use a 4x12. Again, go subtle with the gain on this amp. It's got gain from here to Christmas, but the sweet spot is lower gain to my ear. Like most Marshalls, this amp has a bridge circuit to provide compression to front end overdrive. Suited well for high gain metal. Stage volume is not a problem for this amp. 50 watts is plenty. Drop a SM57 in front of it if you need more to the house. I got this amp new last month. I can't speak for it's reliability, but I have two other Peavey amps that I rely on and they haven't let me down. Peavey has always treated me well. Customer service is better than the other two American electric guitar makers by far.

andito - (08/04/2009) I bought it 4 years ago for about 150$ (530 RON, immediately satisfied by the gain, compaired to the 15W I was thinking about at the time. 4 years in the business it had no problem whatsoever; its 60hz is what I like best, made my sound more aggresive. If you want to start playing metal buy THIS amp!
