HANDS FREE CAR KIT
Strengths: Does exactly what Bluetooth headsets do
loud enough to be used in car
Weaknesses: Sound quality isn't good
Summary: I made a purchase without knowing exactly what this unit can do. After receiving it and read the manual, I noticed this is exactly a Bluetooth headset except it has a very very loud speaker. Pairing it with a bluetooth enabled phone is a breeze. One thing it differs from a bluetooth headset is that your phone recognise it with an additional car icon, but functionality wise they are the same. The sound quality isn't good. But it's extremely loud, which is good for using when driving, especially when you have a loud car or rolling down the windows. One issue I found annoying is that after shut down the unit, the next time turn on the volume resets to the highest. The battery life is OK, as long as you remember to turn it off before you go home. (I leave this unit on my car and charge it with the included car charger) Or you can take it home and charge it on computers. It has a standard mini USB connector which is very easy to find a spare one if you have a digital camera, mp3 or other electronics. When hooking up a computer, it will also function as a speaker for your computer and charge the battery at the same time. Bad thing is that I haven't figured out how to disable it.
Overall, this is an alternative solution if you don't want to wear a bluetooth headset. The product has been reliable so far. I would recommend it to my friends if they don't want to wear a bluetooth headset yet want to drive safely.

Thank you for the valuable feedback!
