I have owned this lovely portable HD for two weeks now. Everything is going ok. This HD comes with two partitions of 30GB each. The filesystem format is FAT32. But I don't like FAT32. So I reformatted it immediatly after I got it. Also, it is a good idea to combine the two partitions into one.

The lighting fast 5400rpm WD 2.5" drive inside makes it one of the best external 2.5" drive. very reliable and tuff design. You can tell it is not a cheap made product.

This is a nice drive. The first thing I noticed was its rugged construction. The center portion of the drive is made of 1/8 inch aluminum. Both ends are capped with abs plastic, providing some shock absorbtion. one of the other things I thought was nice was an on/off switch. This comes in handy when I've got more than one usb device powered from the USB port. Now I don't need to unplug the drive from the hub if I need to plug in another usb device. I just switch it off and all the power gets diverted to the new device. It just saves time and effort.

Great portable drive that has good size 60GB for storing pretty much anything incl. movies, system backup etc. It has 5400rpm speed and the casing feels rock solid. Even though warranty is 1 yr. only, it feels like it will last a long time. It is bus powered so no external power is needed. It is slim but a bit long in shape. Overall its very portable and is quite fast. recommended buy.

Got this little 2.5" external hard drive for a pretty good price. It has a 5400rpm WD drive in side, which makes it fly! I really love the design of it. very durable.
The only problem with it is the power requirment. My Dell 300M can not use it unless I use an external power source. No problem with desktop whatsoever. Great drive!

Weakness: A little larger than some of the other 2.5" enclosures
Got this drive for $67 after rebates recently and have used it quite a bit for transporting M-JPEG files for rendering. Quiet, stylish and fast although the enclosure could stand to be just a little smaller.
FYI : The drive inside is a 5400rpm Western Digital Scorpio w/2MB cache.

A great value for your money. This external hard drive looks sleek. The enclosure is made of aluminum. It is very quiet and requires no additional power supply. The speed is fast as I expect at 5400 rpm. I like it very much and I highly recommend it for backing up large files.

Bought it from Buy.com for $80 AR last week. Plugged it into my Dell Inspiron 9300 using the provided USB cable. Windows XP recognized the HD without a driver. Fast transfer rate. Move 5GB of data in less than a minute.
Definitely will recommed anyone who's looking to buy one.

The price is great. It's even less then an oem bare hd. So there is nothing to complain.

I got this baby for around $80, to my surprise, there is a 5400RPM HDD in the case, not those cheap 4200RPM HDD.
The transfer rate is about 15MB/Sec, and the case is not heat after 1hr use.

Can't beat the price with a decent enclosure and 60G 2.5' HD, even 5400 RPM. I bought this first to hold movie, software and transport back and forth to work. Then I tried to replace it for the small and slow disk in my dell laptop, works very well so far.
Great value for this product, highly recommended!

Strengths: Good pricing. WD inside.
Weakness: Making clicking sound
The enclouser is longer than others. There's a on/off switch build in. With the switch, I do not need to unplug the usb cable when I am done with it. The HDD inside is a WD600UE, which makes clicking sound from time to time. It's a known problem.
