Excellent
Strengths: -Really portable
-Noiseless
-No external power supply needed
Weaknesses: There is no case for this external hd.
Summary: This drive is slightly larger than a BlackBerry, thinner than a deck of cards and a massive 160 gigs. It is lightening fast and the software that comes with it is phenomenal. At first I was unsure about the software, but the first time I plugged it into a presenters computer and had my desktop available to me along with all my programs, all my data, everything I needed, I was hooked. When I plugged it into a hotel PC I was converted.
If you travel or even if you just want a powerful backup between home and office, this drive is the best external portable I've owned and I've owned them all in the past few years.
The only thing that I found a little odd was a separate USB power connector that was for power only. You really don't need it, it seems redundant.
I strongly recommend this drive.

Great ext. drive!
Strengths: small, lightweight and quiet but feels sturdy
Weaknesses: If you want to run a program from the drive not on Ceedo's list, it requires the Argo add-on, which is $20. No Mac s/w.
Summary: A portable, external hard drive that'll run reliably to bring stuff around. In terms of $ to GB, this isn't a bad considering the portability.
Running programs from the drive also generally works well, though it could be better.

seagate
Strengths: seagate 5 year warranty
Weaknesses: a little pricey as this is a newer model - case is not as rugged as in the former model line.
Summary: good quality, simple to use 2.5 hard drive from seagate. The unit does need to use both cords from the included usb cable to power it which might be a disadvantage depending on available usb ports. I have not tested the software it comes with extensively so will edit this later with an update. That software allows you to use the drive as standalone computer in the sense that you can take your current documents and settings with you to another computer, use that computer as a mainframe and not leave a trace of your activity on that computer.

Good Product from Seagate and a good buy from FRYS.com
Strengths: frys.com is really a nice website for buying. I generally buy lots of Electronics items from frys.com and really prompt in time and good products. I am going to order one more from Seagate
Weaknesses: Customer support is not update to the expectation
Summary: I really amazed the price on the seagate 160GB portable disk drive. This is one of the good drive. This drive is very quite and beautiful model.
I love to buy one more, planning to order now

Reliable
Strengths: Small and reliable.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: I actually have the old version of this drive, but I assume the internal drive is the same. I've had it for a couple years now and carry it around all the time. There have been no problems at all and it has worked flawlessly. I liked the Black/Silver with blue light design better, but this is still really nice. The new version are actually thinner than the one I have with the same great features and reliability.

Cool looking portable drive
Strengths: Nice looks; 5-year warranty; no power-supply needed; small
Weaknesses: Expensive
Summary: I have been a Seagate fan for a while, but have (until recently) never bought their external hard drives. The primary reason was their poor styling and lame warranty. That changed with the desktop FreeAgent that I bought. It was cool to look at, and ran very cool (thanks to a heatsink in it's base). As a result, I decided to try the FreeAgent Go seris, which features 2.5" drives instead of the larger 3.5" drive. I've been extremely happy thus far! It requires no external power supply, as it runs off of your usb port. It's nice to look at (it's about time Seagate!) and runs very cool. Plus Seagate finally backed their product with an industry leading 5-year warranty. Bravo! The drive runs off of USB2.0, which is plenty fast enough for me to do backups on my laptop. I already have Norton Ghost, so have not tried the bundled software. Guess I paid for it, even though I'm not using is...oh well!

Great little guy
Strengths: Small Size. Ease of use.
Weaknesses: Not enough capacity for everything.
Summary: Overall this is a great product. If you need to back up files on the go, its great. I use this as portable storage between work and home, and its perfect for that (I can back up my entire Laptop hard drive on it as well). With that being said, if you are not planning on carrying it around with you between places, you might as well go for a 3.5" External Drive, as they are about half the price for the same amount of storage. I just with these prices prices fall below $0.50/GB....then it would be worth it to me to buy another.

cool & hot, big & small
Strengths: 160gb capacity is nice, VERY small foot print (don't loose it)
Weaknesses: gets warm after a lot of use, but not as bad as 7200rpm drives, so it's ok (I'm just being thoro)
Summary: Also, 5 year warranty, seagate is great. Got one for my parents too as easy backup DOES NOT NEED EXTERNAL power, so don't confuse with cheaper/bigger drives, right now this is the biggest size you can get that does not need external power comes with usb cable (has two plugs for pc side, but you only need one for most modern pcs (power issue)) when they come down in price, i'd buy another! happy hard drivin!

Attractive and functional
Strengths: Nice design, warranty
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This is an excellent portable drive. The large 160GB capacity is more than enough. The design is more attractive than most. Seagate's 5-year warranty leads the industry. I found the drive extremely easy to use with my laptop. I highly recommend this drive.
