Easy as pie bluetooth connectivity for pure wireless...

Strengths: One touch bluetooth connectivity between headphones and base adaptor.

Weakness: Slightly uncomfortable, base station is kinda large, rather expensive.

I just purchased these to listen to music from my desktop/laptop and mp3 player wirelessly. This device connects almost immediatly between the headphones and the base adaptor. It's really a no brainer way to utilize bluetooth technology without having to fiddle with drivers and various software.

The sound quality is excellent and the range is pretty much what logitech claims, i.e, 30ft; however, walls and other obstructions will limit that length. Unlike 900mhz headphones, you don't hear any "white noise" or static--truly a godsend from the ole days.

The bluetooth adaptor piece is a tad big, but not too bad. Logitech did think ahead and made the 1/8" jack adjustable depending on where your output line is on your audio device--you can move it from the center of the adaptor to the other end. It's about the length of a zippo lighter and around 30% thicker, although it is narrower.

The headphones themselves are pretty decent, although they're not the most comfortable. Interestingly, logitech includes an extra set of foam pads--I'm assuming to replace the originals once they wear out; however, I simply overlapped the extras onto the originals and the headphones are much more comfortable. I don't notice any degredation in the sound either. So, there's a little fix right off the bat.

The battery life seems decent with the headphones lasting over 7-8 hours. Keep in mind, you have to charge both the headset AND the adaptor piece, but the charger cord has a Y-Split, so it's an all in one hook up. I just keep the adaptor constantly plugged in when at home on my desktop...so that's a not an issue.
Overall, this is a smart and intuitive device that utilizes a new technology in an extremely innovative way.

Yes, it is compatible with any device with a standard headphone jack, but you will not be able to control skipping tracks like the iPod version, only controlling the volume.

Wireless headphones... what's not to like?

Strengths: Great sound, easy to connect and no wires.

Weakness: A little uncomfortable

I bought a set of the Logitech Wireless Headphones for my nine year-old daughter for Christmas and they work great. As stated in an earlier comment, the connectivity is a no brainier and the sound is crystal clear. My daughter just loves them and is the talk of the town; going around with headphones on without wires attached… take that ipod over payers. Don’t worry though they make them for the little white machine too; and in your favorite color white.

I have used these headphones a couple of times and find them a little uncomfortable though but they sound great a look cool. I have not tried adding an extra pad for more cushion; I’m sure it probably works fine.

I highly recommend these headphones phones and would buy them again even though they sell at a price that’s a little on the high side.

Logitech Wireless Headphones

Strengths: no wires, volume controls on the headset, nice design, preforms as it should

Weakness: no song selection buttons on the headset like on the ipod model from logitech, slight hum when the volume is low enough, audio quality not quite as nice as i would have liked

overall this product is very innovative and I'm glad i picked it up. unfortunately i have to end up using the short headphone wire adapter to attach to the signal sender itself because by itself the signal sending device doesn't connect properly with my creative zen microphoto. (this is simply because the body of the mp3 player is curved in such a way that it doesn't allow the plug to go in all the way. Its been fun so far playing with how far the headset will go from the signal sender when attached to something palying music. Somehow the audio quality just doesnt seem to be all that i would have liked it to be. But its certainly not poor. Plus the headset also seems to leak a good deal of sound to the sorrounding area, depending on the volume level. I've really been enjoying the built in sounds that the headphones make when you first turn it on, turn it off and when you can't increase the volume anymore through the headset itself. It will take a short bit of time though to get used to what all the variations in the lights on the headset and signal sender are. I think i still dont know them all. Overall i really like the device and hope that I will continue to enjoy its features as i use it more and more. I also hope that i don't run into problems of the headband on the headset breaking like it has for many of these headset owners.

Fragile!

Strengths: Good Sound, comfort

Weakness: Not adjustable, may not fit all. Fragile, inflexible band breaks. Would love more range

I really like the sound on these headphones. It is great to be able to just leave the MP3 player (or pc, whatever) sitting behind and go wireless. Range could be better (but is as advertised). My cell phone BT headsets have better range, but are mono, not High Quality stereo.

Unfortunately, they have a known problem: the band cracks very easily through no fault of the user. My first pair already cracked in 13 days of moderate use. I was able to exchange them at the place of purchase, and I know that logitech is replacing many of these for those that encounter the problem.

For >$100 the build quality should be FAR higher. I have MANY headsets, some with the exact form factor of these, and have never cracked a band like this..

This is a 5 star product that is getting a 1 star rating from me due only to build quality. If things get better (or my replacement pair lasts more then a few months...) I will update my rating

See some threads at the Logitech User's forum for more details. Sorry, not allowed to link..

Good product, but it is really flimsy, be very...

Strengths: Excellent sound quality, volume and track adjustment is easy to reach on the headset itself.

Weakness: Extremely fragile!!

I was excited when I first got this product as I'm addicted to my iPod. The original ear-buds were starting to hurt my ears. This is a much more comfortable option and I don't need tote the iPod around on my belt or in my pocket anymore. The small Bluetooth transmitter fits neatly on top of the player and syncs up quickly to the headset. Logitech clearly did a great job with the electronics, however they should have spent a little extra time making a more durable product. In the space of 4 weeks with moderate use, I have two splits in the plastic frame that goes around the back of the head. The only thing holding it together is the internal wiring! I'm about to send it back. No way is it worth the $140 that I paid for it. So unless you don't mind duck tape holding it all together, be prepared for a disappointment!

Say No NO NO NO NO to this poor quality product

Strengths: NONE its all bull ****

Weakness: Five star

SAY NO NO NO NO NO NO TO BUY THIS.
This is the most poor quality product I have ever seen. I don’t know why Logitech doesn’t recall its stock in market. The sound quality is good. But there is a serious design FLAW. I was very very careful in handling it wearing it, but still it broke in the middle after 15 days of use.

If you want to waste your $$ please go ahead and buy it. Shame Logitech on designing and still selling such a poor quality product. I thing they got it made in CHINA some where and never even bothered to test if it will live a very careful use of 10 days.

Those who decide to buy GOOD LUCK

Do not buy this Logitech product

Strengths: Sound quality, works great with MP3 or iPod players

Weakness: VERY FRAGILE. Band broke after 3 months of gentle use. Uncomfortable after periods of time.

I'd read all reviews I could for this product, but positives, "wireless + solid sound quality" outweighed the negatives. i.e. "possible" breakage. I should have listened to the negatives.

The headphones are very tight making it uncofortable for extended periods of time. 2 hours tops. I have an average size head so this shouldn't be an issue. They are also heavy which adds to the discomfort.

Yes. The band broke after 5 months of light use. Very poor quality product. I advise all to stay away.

Logitech must have gotten far too many complaints to continue the product line. They are no longer being manufacured. Therefore, no replacement product for my broken one. Since I didn't save my receipt, they will only refund $50 as well. Unusual since Logitech usually stands by their products.

ineteresting but not worth it

Strengths: easy to use good sound good range (30ft)

Weakness: dont fit right seem like they will break at any second Not very loud

Cool and niffty toy. But they arent the greatest headphones. I still like my sony holding ones better and then my Koss full size for gaming. The wireless is def nice but they need to work on the headphones. They sound good but could be better. Sound quality is about a 3.5 out of 5. I like very loud music and I can listen to these at max no prob.
Botton line, save your money unless your dead set on going wireless.

Cheap but not the current version

Strengths: Inexpensive and the connection between the headset and the transmitor is good/fast.

Weakness: This version of these headphones is last generation. There's been a newer version out for a few years now.

It was not clear that these were a dated, less modern version of the headphones. Perhaps the inexpensive price should have given it away. I understand the behind the head band snaps on these.

Great sounding headphones, but you pay the price...

Strengths: Very good sound quality. Very easy to set up and use. Amazing price.

Weakness: Very heavy and uncomfortable. Not designed for comfort and no adjustability.

The sound quality and ease of set up should make these wireless headphones a must buy. However, they are truly uncomfortable for long-term wear. They are very heavy, which I understand due to all that has to be packed into them, but I think a better design could have been worket out. They are not adjustable at all, which would have made them at least a little more comfortable. I sold them to a co-worker after having them for two days due to their lack of comfort. All the reviews I read before I purchased these headphones were absolutely correct. They sound great and work great, but they are not comfortable at all. If you decide to buy these, make sure you can return them because comfort and ease of wear will become factors for most people.

Great sound and easy to use but breaks into 2 pieces...

Strengths: price, easy to use, great sound

Weakness: flimsy plastic strap behind the neck breaks and also breaks the wires and then you have worthless junk

At this low price I bought 5 pairs for the whole family for xmas. 3 out of the 5 are already broken in the back and this is only January.

wireless headphones

Strengths: Work Great within distance specified

Weakness: They do get a bit uncomfortable after a while

I used these connected to my PC, my stereo, My DVD/TV and they work great. I got them for walking for use with my ipaq music player and they work great with no restriction of movement. I've even used them while gardening. Good deal if you bother to search out a good price.

Broken Bluetooth Blues

Strengths: Good Sound Quality, easy bluetooth connectivity

Weakness: Fragile - non functional after crack in spine

Look at how thin the spine is on this headset - if you bang your crap up like i do - best go with a headset that is more sturdy - look Morotola

Good low budget wireless headphones!

Strengths: decent signal, cheap, good audio quality

Weakness: not adjustable, people compained of it breaking, and I can see why

Keeps signal pretty good within 30 feet, barring any type of mechanical or electrical obstruction. Fits most heads even though its not adjustable. Syncing device locks up every once in a while, but works upon hard reset. Good wireless headphones for the money, would recommend

great idea, good sound, awful product

Strengths: good sound quality. works reasonably well within 5 ft. radius. good battery life

Weakness: uncomfortable to ware, band broke after 2 weeks.

I was excited when these started going on sale recently. I really liked the idea of having wireless headsets. For the first 2 weeks I used them all the time, even though it hurt my ears some. Then the band broke in back. I tried using duck tape, but it was no use. after 3 weeks the headset wouldn't charge any more. I am currently trying to return the product.

Logitech Wireless Headphones

Logitech’s wireless headphones are nearly identical to Toshiba’s, with one key difference. Whereas Toshiba tries to hit the minimum price point with absolutely no extras, Logitech includes a Bluetooth adapter that can be plugged into any stereo headphone jack. It’s a small change, but makes a world of difference. For an additional $10 this becomes a near-universal device that can be paired...
