Great watch with heart rate monitor
Strengths: Inexpensive and easy to carry
Weaknesses: Manual does not provide good explanation where to put the belt. Also, the device does not provide the distance/ calories burned.
Summary: Overall, I am satisfied with this device. It is in expensive and light weight. I use it for exercise (walking) every morning. The monitor can provide the time and heart rate at the same time. It also has a function of stopwatch and alarm.

Nice heart rate monitor
Strengths: Easy to use, very comfortable to wear.
Weaknesses: The chest strap is a little bit bigger than expected.
Summary: Being a person who hasn't ever joined a gym, I never knew stuff like this existed. I was very interested in this item because I've been walking for exercise but wasn't really sure I was reaching my target heart rate consistently. The monitor, which displays the time as well as your heart rate on a watch, works in conjunction with a gizmo that you strap around yourself, just under your chest. (I will tell you, since I was concerned about this, that it's hardly noticeable once it's in place...it's a 12" or so long piece of plastic with an adjustable elastic strap...not very bulky at all!) The monitor also features a stopwatch and an alarm, so that after you set your minimum & maximum desired heart rates, you can be alerted when you are out of range. The alarm is a "beep-beep" that I can hear over the book on tape I drag along with me. Your heart rate is updated every second or two so you will always know if you need to pick up the pace a bit. Although I have not yet had to do so, the chest strap has a removable backing, and you apparently can change the battery yourself (this is a big deal, I guess, since some of the more expensive monitors require that you send them to the factory for a battery change). The elastic strap is also completely removable, which makes it very easy to wash (and you will need to if you're exercising!). The monitor comes packaged in a small, zippered carrying case, and includes an attachment that allows you to place it on a bicycle handlebar. This does everything I need it to, and I recommend it for anyone who is just getting started in an exercise program.

Thank you for the valuable feedback!

Works very well
Strengths: greatly improved my exercise plan
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I used to do some running almost everyday but found it's not very effective without some planning. I did some research and found out it'll be greatly improvement to exercise at certain heart rate. But I didn't want to spend a lot of money on one of these heart rate monitors, so this product fit my price range perfectly. I'm not certain what other bells and whistles the more expensive ones have, but this one seems to be everything I need...heart monitor including alarm setting to let you know you've reached your target or fallen from it, stop watch, clock, and etc. highly recommended

an accurate heart rate monitor
Strengths: accuracy
Weaknesses: manual explanation
Summary: The equipment manual does not tell but you have to put the belt very close to heart for the equipment to detect the heart beats. Otherwise it is a very accurate one, which is designed very well for aiding in exercising.

Nice wireless solution to increase your workout monitoring.
Strengths: Comfortable fit chest band, full function watch with stop watch and alarm features.
Weaknesses: Watch alarm sound level is weak. Sometimes takes a while for the watch to sync with chest band causing delays in heart monitoring function.
Summary: I purchased this product so that I could monitor my workouts and push myself when I wasn't getting optimum performance. There is a chest band that fits around your body just below the pecs. This band stretches to fit tight, but you hardly notice that it's on. next you strap on the watch and hit the heart rate button. Usually within 30 seconds it picks up the signal from the chest band and starts to display your heart rate. Occasionally, I have noticed that it takes a little longer which can be somewhat annoying especially if you want to start your workout. You can set an upper and lower heart rate alarm to alert you to stay within a range, but the alarm is not too loud and impossible to hear if you are listening to music so I do not use it. There is also a stop watch function which I use a lot, plus normal time functions. Overall, I think this is a good product with a few minor short comings. For the price, I'd consider it a good value and worth a try.

Inexpensive, functional heart rate monitor
Strengths: Inexpensive, includes clock/timer, comfortable, easy to change battery
Weaknesses: Needs a lot of moisture to get readings, seems to be inaccurate
Summary: Very inexpensive heart rate monitor. The watch includes a clock and timer, and can be set to indicate when your heart rate is in the optimal range. The monitor sits below your chest and is pretty comfortable and readily adjustable. In addition, the battery on the belt monitor can be changed by the user. However, you have to be sweating a lot or either apply some moisture on the monitor in order to get a heart rate. In addition, although I feel I am not really exerting myself, I sometimes get heart rates of >180 making it seem as if the readings are inaccurate.

Good inexpensive item
Strengths: The price is very low and it works great.
Weaknesses: The manual is not clear.
Summary: Because it is so cheap, I feel very satisfied with this product. The watch is great with time, date, alarm, not only for heart rate. But the manual does not show how to put on the belt and the best position to let it to measure the heart rate.

good simple HRM
Strengths: works out of the box
simple
price
Weaknesses: no Ave/Min/Max HR
can't see time and HR at the same time - you have to press "Time" button to switch all the time
Summary: This is very good simple and inexpensive HRM.
Yes, Ava/Max/Min what is missing here, but other devices that have it cost twice much. I think I can live without it ;-)

working without any problems. comes with a receiver
mounting bracket for a bike handle instead of wrist.
