The Samsung HT-BD1250 is an all-in-one home theater system announced at CES 2009 in Las Vegas. This 1000-watt system includes a built in Blu-ray Disc player and supports Netflix internet movie streaming and Pandoras free Internet music service. This system is similar to Samsung’s 2008 Blu-ray home theater offering, the HT-BD2T. 2009’s HT-BD1250 includes support for Blu-ray profile 2.0, meaning full compatibility with the latest Blu-ray movie features like BD-Live and lossless Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio sound. This home theater system also includes an iPod dock, and the ability to stream from compatible Bluetooth devices, such as mobile phones containing audio files. Users will have to invest in an 802.11n Wi-Fi dongle for wireless internet support. While the HT-BD1250 includes the front speakers and a subwoofer, the rear speakers must be purchased separately.
