Interference with Wireless Module?

Posted 1 year ago - To anyone who owns this set: I have read many reviews trying to decide which HTS to purchase. Among these reviews I have occasionally come across a few for this set that concern interference with the wireless module. Many reviewers claim that if objects are placed between the wireless module and the main unit (even small objects), then the signal between the main unit and the wireless module will be interrupted. Following this interruption, the main unit will shut all sound off and notify the user that the rear speakers are disconnected. Is this true? Has anyone had this problem with their set?

Posted Dec 27, 2006 - If anyone else has trouble with DVD/CDs being stuck inside, I found a way to get them out without taking the unit apart: Unplug the unit. Plug it back in. Press power, and quickly press the eject button for the corresponding player you want to eject. You may have to try this a couple time, but at least you get your DVD/CD back!

Posted Dec 26, 2006 - The service of Samsung’s guarantee forces to that a defective product enters three times to repair to a center on watch (more or less 30 days each time) before evaluating the product change. I bought the home theater HT-TQ85 six months ago and I only have been able to use it for three months because it had several operation problems and now, Samsung’s employees are still evaluating if they change the product although the required spare part is not available. In addition, the last answer was that I must wait for twenty days more so that an engineer authorizes the product change. It’s incredible that they haven’t available a spare part for a new product, or may be so many complaints finished them….?. Think twice before to buy a Samsung’s product and investigate which is the true customer service and the real guarantee terms, because I didn’t pay almost US$700 to receive excuses time and time again.

Posted Oct 8, 2006 - Just bought a LCD HDTV - and a Panasonic sc-ht740 surround sound. I will be hooking up the HDTV through Direct TV's HD DVR. Will I be able to hook all these systems together? Can I go HDMI from receiver to TV and then hook the HD DVR to the TV as well? I am concerned I may not have the right input to the receiver otherwise.

Posted Aug 17, 2006 - I just purchased this surround sound system and am generally happy with it. There is an annoying faint clicking sound that doesn't seem to go away. I have seen a couple other critiques about this elsewhere. If anyone has battled this and fixed the problem let me know.
