Packaging was good enough. Motherboard box inside a DHL shipping box and a single piece of foam. Motherboard was nearly DOA. Will cost me to ship back. The motherboard came with almost everything needed. The CD, was simply a CD-R with the driver file. No manual. It came with drive cables and a power supply adapter. Kind of surprised because they used DHL carrier and they delivered second day air in a snowstorm. Buy with confidence.... Additionally, the first time I tried to order, after typing in the security code from the back of the credit card and clicking on submit order / process order / whatever it was called, I was thrown back to the top of the product list, with no error indication, no order number, nothing to indicate whether the order went through or not. He asked me to hold on...and transfered me to a COMPETITOR company's number! The fellow at the competing company explained that they have heard of but have no relationship to HyperMicro...other than as competing companies. When I called HyperMicro back a second time I WAS able to successfully get confirmation of my order's cancelation. None of these items were in the box, nor were there instructions, warranty papers, or documentation of any kind. The item was shipped in a brown box WITH NO PADDING OR PROTECTION OF ANY KIND!!! Just a small Hard Drive in a big brown box. Does this sound IGNORANT to anybody? I am absolutely LIVID and will never order another product from this merchant.
