Great on-line experience. Ordered the new Seagate 15K RPM drive and it was shipped the same day. Received it in one day even though I used two-day shipping(thanks FedEx!) and had no problems with the order. I could not find this drive priced lower anywhere(Cheeatah 15-36LP, 18.4GB version) and the drive cooler was a steal as well. Definately recommend them for HDDs. |

I purchased a Pioneer DVR-104, and was pleasantly surprised to find: a curtious sales person, the product in stock AT THE ADVERTISED price, and no sales pitches for BS add-ons. Their price for the unit was the cheapest, and the unit new with all the accessories intact. They offer FedEx 2 day shipping for only $10.50. All told, I would certainly do business with this company should the need arise. Very recommended!! |

All I have to say is WOW!!! They are extremely fast in shipping and the contents of the package were very well packed! They are an excellent company with extremely reasonable prices. (I purchased a pioneer dvr-104 and they were pretty much the cheapest even after shipping, which they seem to charge the bare minimum for shipping as well. You can tell they care about their customers. |

(Edited May 02nd by PinnacleMan1) Minor Problem with this vendor: I received My Pionner 104 DVD burner (OEM) on time via Fed-EX 2 day delivery. The drive and cables were pack nicely BUT my 10 DVD generic Disks were NOT in the box. I therefore called sales back and reported the problem. They apologized and said this could've happen and sales spoke to their supervisor as to what can be done. The supervisor granted and overnight delivery of the DVD genric disk and I should receive them today. The Pioneer 104 works fine so far |

This guys are great. We live in Uruguay and we boght some stuff from them. We payed trough a wire transfer and besides we were kind of a pain in the ... they helped us and we finally got what we needed. we bought a DVR-104 an sent it to MIAMI (Where someone picked it up and send it here)although the guys at FedEx were not really as helpful or efficient as those at Hypermicro (they couldn´t find the address on time and we got our package a couple of days later). |

I recently purchased a Pioneer DVR-104 from this company because they had close to the lowest price but definately the best reviews.I have to say that I was not dissapointed in any way.My DVR-104 arrived right on time and was packaged very well.I recommend them completely. |

Purchased a Pioneer DVR-104 on Wednesday afternoon and requested UPS ground shipping. To my surprise, I had the drive in my hands the following day (Chicago to Indy). I wouldn't hesitate to use this place whatsoever. |

Bought a Pioneer 104 (OEM version of A04 which means no fancy box, not website-flash upgradable, etc). It shipped on schedule and everything was fine. The price dropped $20 a week later..but oh well--so it goes. I was very happy to do business with them and would be happy to buy from them again. |

Ordered an UltraTrak RM8000 (site said in stock) on Wednesday evening to be shipped overnight. Called Thursday to confirm shipment, I was told they would try and have it out that day. Called Friday, not shipped, said card was denied, ran card again and it was approved. Now they say they are out of stock. Canceled order and was told they would remove the charge on the card immediately. Tried using the same card later on and find they hadn't removed the charge. Bought from another, with no hassle. |

(Edited February 26th by theshu) My main problem with Hyper Micro is their website is misleading. I ordered a Pioneer DVR-A05 DVD drive, which is how it is described on the site. But when I received it the drive was an OEM model DVR-105 which is basically the cheaper un-branded drive. After calling the sales dept they gave me the run around saying they were all out of the A05 model and had to substitute the 105 in place of it. (YEAH RIGHT) He also said they were out of the 105 now as well. Shipping was on time and accurate. |

Just like the review below, I ordered a Sony DRU500AX combo drive (DVD-R DVD+R) and they sent a DW-U10A, which is the OEM version. The drive is quite different from the retail version, it's a different color, uses different firmware, and isn't supported by Sony. To give them credit, I did receive the merchandise pretty fast, and they allowed me to return it. I recommend them as long as you know exactly what you're buying. |

They were very fast to get the product to me. They advertise that the unit writes DVD+R at 4X but it doesn't. It writes DVD-R at 4X as advertised. They need to correct the DVD+R write speed in their advertisement. I requested to return the unit as I want a writer that writes both +R and -R at 4X. This is not a true DRU500AX. |

Hyper Microsystems, Inc. advertised a Pioneer DVR-A05 DVD burner and I purchased one. After I received it, I did some further research and discovered that what they sent me was not a DVR-A05, it was a DVR-105 drive in a plain brown box with Hyper Microsystems' version of the A05 bundle. I reported this discrepancy to Hyper Microsystems almost three weeks ago and have not received a response. I feel like I've been cheated. |

I ordered the Pioneer DVR-A06 White Box but received Pioneer DVR-106 with Nero Express which I did not need. The statement that the product is the A06 is deceiving and I will NOT buy from them again even though the shipment was received on time and in good condition. |
