I have used Instawares for several years now and have not experienced as much trouble as some have reported. There have been problems with long waits for back ordered items and a few damaged items but Customer Service always worked with me to resolve them. Great prices for everything and a huge selection. It is sometimes hard to narrow down the choices with so much selection!! |

I wanted a $32 item but because they offering free shipping over $50, so I ordered a 20 dollar item I really didnt need. The Problem starts: First they did not specify there were going to be 2 separate packages, they only provided 1 tracking number. 1st item arrived in 2 days, WOW,what a lightning fast shipping! then I give them another week but no 2nd package. Finally I write them an email asking what's going on....they tell me that the item as been "discontinued" and they're giving me a refund, no other options were offered. Could they have told me this before I sent them an email a week later? BUT OH WAIT! THE ITEM IS STILL BEING OFFERED THROUGH THE WEB SITE. I just ended up with a 20dollar worth of crap that I never wanted. I would consider this a SCAM. BUYERS BEWARE |

The photo of the microwave shelf I ordered was small, but depicted a nice-looking white shelf that might look appropriate in a home kitchen. They shipped it fairly quickly, however the product turned out to be a stamp-cut machine bent chunk of steel that had been lightly coated on only one surface with white paint -- the surface was already scratched. It came with two enormous shiny silver support flanges. No bolts, screws, or instructions. It was not at all suitable. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I would pay a 25% restocking fee and be responsible for return shipping. The item was $79, and it will likely cost me 25% of that to ship it back, so I'm out fifty bucks. Instawares may be legally protected, but they have the ethics of street con men. Buyer beware. |

Two weeks after the expected delivery date, the order had not shipped, so I cancelled it. It has been six weeks since I cancelled the order, and I still do not have a refund. I keep contacting customer service, and they keep telling me it will five more days until the refund is processed. Do not shop here. |

STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY ORDER. MY ORDER WAS EXPRESS ALSO 3 DAY AND IT'S BEEN OVER 4 WEEKS. I AM UNABLE TO GET THROUGH TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ON ORDER STATUS IT SAYS IT'S STILL PROCESSING MY ORDER. My credit card was charged the day I placed the order. 3 weeks later I tried to phone customer service having not received the product, could not get through within one hour. Submitted a case online. No response 5 days later. Now I'm dealing with my credit card company to recover my losses. Retailer Response (10/31/2007): Dear Customer, While I can not associate your concern with a name or order number, I did wnat to offer my assistance if you did not find resolution to your problem. The WORST company I have ever dealt with. I was charged for a product they didn't have, told my refund was being issued, and have been fighting with them over the internet and by phone for the last 5 weeks for my money which I am constantly told is being refunded immediately.
Now the order is being shipped to me anyway, and I'm told I can't get my money until I return the item and they get "comfirmation of receipt" from their warehouse. On and on it goes.
NEVER,NEVER,NEVER buy anything from these people!!!!! The single worst e merchant I have dealt with in 15 years. They charged my credit card for an item they did not have in stock, and knew would not be in stock for 3 months. When they failed to ship the item after three months I requested a full refund. It is now 5 months after the order date and they have consistently failed to refund my money. They are virtually impossible to contact by any means. Advice: NEVER deal with this merchant |

Ordered product 9/26/06. Many phone calls with long waits indicated why the delays with assurance that my account was not charged yet. Credit card statement came on 10/28/06 and indicated my account was charged on 9/26/06, the day the product was ordered. Finally cancelled order on 10/30/06. |

I would not recommend this company at all. I ordered several items from them one of which I had to return and reordered a different item. I was told a refund would be issued early in July of 2006. I have emailed them several times and keep getting excuses as to why the refund has not been issued. As recently as 10/20/06 I was told they were just aquired by an inventment company and the refund would be issued shortly. I gave them until the end of the business day to issue the credit or would file a claim with AMEX. I filed the claim with AMEX this evening 10/20/06. Their customer service is terrible and they do not issue refunds. I think you will see it is the same story on other reviews too. It also takes weeks to get your order once you do order. |

Avoid these guys at all costs. Cancelled an order the next day. The cancellation was confirmed, but my credit card was still charged. Two months later I've not been able to get a refund for a product I never received in spite of emails and phone calls. Finally had to file a dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. Don't be tempted, look elsewhere. |

they charged my card. but they don't have the product in stock!!! order was never delivered, cancelled the order after 17 days of waiting. beside the sale confirmation no information was relayed to me unless i called. |
