I had this concern that my item was in stock or not. Even though when I ordered, it was showing in stock but the next day it was out of stock. Also the initial email said that my credit card would be charged when item would ship. |

Finding the products I wanted, and reviews about them was easy and complete. Placing the order was very user friendly, and was shipped amd received in a timely manner. I haven't tried the produt yet as the battery needs to be charged, but if it follows the 'path' noted so far, everything should be fine. What a difference from a certain computer company I ordered from earlier, and now am stuck with an expensive junk dust collector!!!!!!! I would definitly tell my friends about your company!. I wanted to make my purchase online, but I had a question on the warranty of the item to be purchased. (It would be nice if that information was listed for each product online). The wait time over the phone wasn't long at all and the sales representative was very friendly and able to give me the warranty information I was looking for. I decided to go ahead with my purchase over the phone, rather than hang up, just to do it over the internet. My only complaint is that my item took two days to ship, which set my arrival day to be on Monday instead of the prior Friday. I would have loved to get it before the weekend. That is my only complaint(not much of one) and I realize that JandR has lots of customers, which can cause an order to take two days to process. I will be able to give a better review once I get my merchandise. I have received my merchandise. It arrived on the day promised by j and r and it was in excellent condition. I am very pleased with my experience with j and r. |

The website don´t inform the limitations for purchases with international credit card (non US). The only way to make the purchase is by phone.
It was necessary to make make my order twice. Last week I made the purchase, but after sending the documents and calling 3 times to make follow up´s, my order just disappeared from the system. This week I needed to make it all again.
My credit card was charged twice. Retailer Response (06/08/2009): Our FAQ advises on how to enter billing information for international credit cards. Unfortunately, the first order could not process dus to insufficient information. Although the card was not charged a temporary hold on the funds is placed by the bank that issued the card. The bank can advise on how long it will take. We apologize for the inconvenience. I would be happy to answer any question or concerns by phone or email. Not the lowest price for the PDA I wanted but they offered convenient Bill Me Later option which I availed of (no interest for 90 days) plus I had bought from them in the past and was very satisfied with service and delivery time. Happy with this purchase. |

I have always been pleased with the service I get from J&R. J&R offered the Panasonic FZ28 for the best price and the service I have received over the years from J&r has been very good. I have used the camera now for a couple of weeks and am very happy with same. |

Very great retailer. The only problem I had, which really didn't matter but was kind of annoying, was that they originally ran my credit card and put a hold on the amount (which was over $1300 so it wasn't a small amount) and then when the item was in stock they ran the card again but didn't take the hold off for the original amount until several days later, so for several days I had double the amount on hold on my credit card, which would have been bad if I had a low line of credit or needed to make another big purchase that week. |

Pros: Good customer service. Good variety of product types. Easy to call NY based, English-speaking customer service & sales. Cons: I was sent an obviosly used video card which was returned. Some computer parts shown on their website are old models. Prices on average are higher than leading etailers. J&R's pricematch is nice to have but a bit misleading; when provided a lower price quote from a competitor, J&R Sales typically decreases the item price but does not completely match the lower price. Orders made with gift cards are slow to process (additional 3-4 days.) |
