the sizing for the shirt we ordered was different than that listed for sizes. We needed a men's MT, as per the size chart pull up window. The sizes were reg, athletic, Xtall, & big. What in the world is athletic? We hope we got the tall sizes, but don't know. They need the window that comes up with sizes to coninside with the product sizing. Pulled the fall catalog, same problem. Having to try and figure the size and go find my hard copy catalog was not good. Overall Rating

I ordered this Item on November 6. I received an email saying it was on backorder for December 5. Today I checked the shipment and now the date is December 12. I called to see if the date would possibly move even later and was told yes this could happen. So even though I ordered in early November and the order notification told me it would be shipped by December 5, I may not receive the item before Christmas. I am left without knowing what to do. I've looked everywhere for this item and can't find it anywhere and I desparetly wanted it for my daughter for Christmas. Very disappointing. Overall Rating

This item was backordered for several months and the merchant has not been able to give me any information. This was an item that was advertised in a circular so there should not have been a back order. The had no information. I would never order a large item from this merchant. Interestingly, as soon as I filed this review, the item was shipped within hours, although the company had no further information as to delviery other than that it was shipped. Overall Rating

Part of my shipment from the factory arrived damaged. I called JCP on 9/3/08 and was told they would call for replacements from supplier. I never received replacements and was only partially refunded for damaged products. I am still due a refund on two broken items and for canceled salt and pepper shakers. Total due is almost $65.00 + tax. I am very unhappy about this online transaction! Overall Rating

Yesterday, after adding several items to the cart, I began to check out and entered the code given to have free shipping (since it stated that orders over $99. qualified for free shipping). After filling in all the information, I placed the order and was charged shipping after all. I could not go back to fix it since the order was confirmed. I am not happy since I ordered with the presumption that there would be no shipping charges. Would like the shipping charge to be removed. Overall Rating

Product was not of good quality. Had some splits in the wood. I Returned it to local JCP. Customer Svc. person said furniture only has a 7 day return policy. That's absurd! I was not able to open it for several days, as I was out of town on a business trip. Then, after opening it, I thought maybe I'd keep it, but ultimately decided a few days later that it did not meet my expectations. Fortunatley, the customer service person at the catalog counter at the Meriden, CT store waived the 7 day return policy and took it back. THANK YOU! Overall Rating

I would suggest JCPenney add a button on the order summary page (part of the order review process) to change the discount code before checkout. At this time, the only way to enter a discount code is at the beginning of the checkout process. Because JCPenney had emailed me two different codes (10% vs. free shipping), I wanted to apply each code to see which had the lower final price, after shipping costs were added. To do this, I had to start over and create two separate shopping bags. Other than that, JCPenney offers great values, helpful customer reviews, and excellent options to narrow searches in the online rug department. Overall Rating

I am so glad that for J.C.P. because I'm not really able physically to go shopping in the store due to my disability. I always shop at J.C.P. and I am always satisfied with my experience. The things I buy are almost always in stock and a lot of times on sale too. This makes things especially nice when your on a very limited monthly budget. I can always count on getting my monies worth. i wish there were more stores/websites like this. Thank you for the great job you do. Overall Rating

this is not worth it....I placed my order on Aug 24. According to the website if you ordered over $99 shipping was free. I spent over $100. My order confirmation stated $00. for shipping. Problem: the order was separated to 4 different shipments due to no fault of mine. I have now been charged for shipping. This is false advertisement. It is frustrating to have to call and get transferred to several different departments to try to get this matter resolved. I am very frustrated at having to go thru this to get credit for something I should not have been charged. I will not reccomend this service to anyone. Overall Rating

Item was shipped from manufacturer-took almost 3 weeks. Item was quality jewelry and when received,the chain was knotted in several places. Also,the packaging was not as described-did not have the inscription in the box as listed. Place my order and all looked ok. I had one item on back order and advised to be shipped by August 8, never heard from JCPenny nor did I receive the item. Made several enquiries on the same and kept being given different promises and dates. Todate I have not yet received that item. Needed it for an important occassion which was for August 30, had to go and look for an alternative outfit at different store. I have been very disappointment with the online experience from JCPenny that I would never try to do it again. I have never had any feedback on my order despite me giving out my details and contact phone numbers to the representatives I spoke to while making following up. It has been a terrible experience and would not recommend anyone to buy if they have time limit. i know one month notice was good enough but it did not work with JCPenny. Overall Rating
