Premium materials. Hand-crafted components. A team of racing fanatics dedicated to providing the most realistic driving experience possible. With the G25 Racing Wheel, Logitech is taking sim racing controls to the next level, and we'd like you to come along for the ride. The G25's unique dual-motor force feedback transmission delivers powerful, high-fidelity force effects to the hand-stitched leather wheel, so you can feel under-and oversteer before you're on the barrier. minimize

5 Star Review Best in class!

Strengths:

Actually everything for the money

Weaknesses:

Shifter could give more resistance and feeling you 'put in gear' (just to mention something at all here ;) )

Posted May 9, 2007 - Well, what can be added, beside what is already written in so many reviews? I run with some friends a Racing client which is used worldwide for online racing. We even have real life racers among us, like GT2 driver Sean Edwards and LMP2 driver Stuart Mosley. Many own the G25 lately and all are equally enthousiastic about it. Says enough I guess or? ;). Sure there are wheels/systems that are better, but you won't find a better one for this kind of money. I saw some ask which games could be run? We use for our Leagues F1Challenge, rFactor (MANY MODS like ETCC, F1-79, Clio, Megane, CTDP etc!) and GTR2. For the real racing fanatics I guess that should be enough to keep you busy for the upcoming years ;). About the Force Feedback: it is ABSOLUTELY NOT weak like another posted! TWO motors (for right and left) will brake your wrists if set to FULL :D. I guess the ones saying it is weak should check their settings, as well as the ones in the game. Conclusion: a MUST for real Sim drivers! Questions? Mail me or join us for some great Racing (League or free races) at f1rst3 Whatever you do with your G25, I'm sure you'll have fun!

5 Star Review Best wheel yet

Strengths:

Pedals stiffer; thus have a more realistic feel.

Weaknesses:

None

Posted Jan 14, 2007 - I've only had the wheel for three weeks, so I'm still getting used to it. The steering is much more sensitive than on my old Momo wheel. It really adds to the R-Factor experience, but will take some getting used to on the old NASCAR 2003 race game. The pedals are stiffer and more realistic than any wheel I've had to date.

5 Star Review Logitech G25

Strengths:

The wheel is very durable. Very strong. Peadals have a very big base for your feet. 6-Speed shifter included is just great! Has bolt threads so you can bolt everything to a desk or whatever.

Weaknesses:

Well I'm not really sure. I think the clamps on the wheel part could have been made a little different to support it better.

Posted Jan 31, 2007 - I would have to say that this is the best wheel yet from Logitech so far. I play alot of driving/racing games and the G25 really makes you feel like your in the game. I know that not all games out don't support the clutch and shifter but put the G25 in the sequential mode and your off enjoying your older games.

5 Star Review Logitech G25

Strengths:

Constuction, Material, pedal stiffness, 6spd shifter, shifter detach from wheel. Overall: VERY GOOD!

Weaknesses:

I think the force feedback is a bit too soft. (It might be the game setting that’s making it a too soft). The 6spd shifter feels a bit cheap (looses the realistic feel).

Posted Mar 18, 2007 - Overall this is a great driving simulation wheel. I do agree with others that they think the pedals are spaced a little bit close together. I have relatively small feet (size 8.5) and I find it manageable. The force-feedback is very smooth compare to the Logitech Driving Force Pro but I find the G25’s force-feedback too soft. Overall the G25 makes the Driving Force Pro look, feel and smell like garbage. If you haven’t been playing driving simulations with this wheel, you haven’t been driving. GO BUY IT I recommend to everyone!

5 Star Review G25 Racing Wheel

Strengths:

+ Excellent quality + Leather wrapped wheel + Independent gear shifter

Weaknesses:

- Premium price

Posted Oct 22, 2007 - Wow, this is a nice racing wheel. I have owned many logitech products and I am always impressed with their quality. I bought this wheel to play racing games such as the new game Dirt. Reaction is very clean and feels almost like the real thing. Handling is very good with very little play. You definately get what you pay for here. I only wish I did not have to pay as much as a did for this wheel. Hopefully this wheel will last a long time.

5 Star Review Logitech G25 pc wheel

Strengths:

This wheel is made out of premium materials with solid construction-even has a seperate shifter along with a clutch pedal.

Weaknesses:

The clamps that attach the wheel are plastic but they are designed in such a way that make them exceptionally strong.

Posted Nov 5, 2006 - This wheel along with the pedals and shifter are the best I have seen. The wheel is covered with leather and the pedals are stainless steel. The shifter has a great feel to it, the forcefeedback is wonderful, and the pedals have just the right tension to them.I knew the whole package was great when I first opened the box and it had a new car smell to it.How cool is that! It's not cheap and you can actually spend more but for 99.99% of gamers the Logitech G25 would be the ultimate for PC racing.

5 Star Review G25 Racing Wheel

Strengths:

Precise pedal modulation and steering. Clutch and shifter make things so much more fun and realistic. The smell of leather that greets your nose as soon as you open the box.

Weaknesses:

Having cables connect underneath the wheel instead of in back makes setting up/taking down the wheel more difficult. Clutch pedal too close to brake pedal. No 7th gear. Gas pedal could be stiffer.

Posted 1 year ago - The overall quality, smoothness, and feel of the wheel and pedals is impressive. The shifter works great as a 6-speed or as a sequential shifter. Be sure when changing the shifter to sequential mode that you push down on the shifter while moving the selector button, otherwise, the shifter will not automatically spring back to the middle after upshifting or downshifting. It is much easier to modulate the throttle and brake with the resistance these pedals offer as compared to the Logitech MOMO Force Feedback. The 900 degree steering gives a lot of flexibility in adjusting the turning ratios. There are a few minor annoyances: I would prefer that the clutch pedal be a little bid further away from the brake pedal. Also, the front edges of the paddle shifters are smooth, while the back edges, which your fingers actually touch have a rougher edge (I actually cut my finger once). A 7th gear and maybe a couple more buttons on the steering wheel would have been nice too. Although the throttle is very good, it could use even more resistance. This is overkill for the casual driver (the MOMO force feedback would be a better choice for them), but for those who spend a lot of time with driving/racing games and especially the more realistic driving and racing sims I highly recommend this. The best you can buy short of an ACT-LABS RS 2006 system.

5 Star Review Can't wait

Strengths:

Logitech reputation as a peripheral Icon. The construction of this wheel. The adjustability of it and the price.

Weaknesses:

The only drawback I see at this time without owning one is: To be able to use the 6-speed H style shifting pattern, a game must support multiple buttons for each gear.

Posted Jan 23, 2007 - As I said, I don't own it yet, but going on Logitechs reputation as a peripheral manufacturer, and being at the top of that list. I would not hesitate to buy this wheel, which I am as soon as my taxes get here...:D. I have researched this type of wheel and as far as I know, the lowest price you can get one like this is around $1000. The materials and craftsmanship put into this wheel, just by looks alone, are top notch. Maybe it lacks some of the "on-wheel" buttons we are use to, but in the real world we don't have them either. Now we just need to come up with a driving simulator similar to Microsoft Flight Simulator where we can drive all over the planet, just like in the real world.

5 Star Review Best Wheel for the Money

Strengths:

Steel and leather construction, seperate shifter, good resistance on pedals.

Weaknesses:

May cause social problems.

Posted 4 months ago - Great Wheel, I really can't say that enough. The only downside is how addictive it is. Combining with a play seat multiplies excitment and fun factor. Only purchase if you have lots of free time or you will drive yourself crazy wanting to play it more.

Weaknesses:

none Known

Posted Sep 12, 2007 - True to life racing wheel with the force feedback for realistic driving experience. Ensured to adjust the settings to the levels that feel comfortable. Very easy to calibrate the wheel by disconnecting, and re-connecting the USB cable.

5 Star Review Realistic

Strengths:

Great wheel, gives you a true to life experience for a fraction of the cost

Weaknesses:

A little pricy, but well worth it.

Posted Apr 30, 2007 - After having 3 other wheels in the past 10 years, this one is the most superior. "Two thumbs up" For the price of this wheel you can't beat it.
